Good morning, Sweet Friend,
Such a beautiful rose and a beautiful song....
"One is nearer GOD'S heart in a garden,
Than any where else on Earth"...
... something I've heard all my life. The two just go together, don't they!

Dawn King

That reminds me of a song :) The rose is simply beautiful! We are so far away from roses here...at least another two months!

take care,
Dawn

Hi Beverly. That's one of my favorite hymns. I have always thought that the reason why we find so much joy in the garden is because that is where God planned that we would live until Adam and Eve messed it up! Hope youhad a great weekend.

In the Garden was my daddy's favorite hymn. We played it at his funeral.
The rose is lovely.

We like the roses!
Just remember to "take time to smell the roses!"

I saw you over at Picket's and thought I'd invite myself over to your blog. I am so glad I did. I love it so much. What a wonderful collection of rooster you have. I could move right in. Have a great day! Terriedj

Mary's Treasured Memories

I love the song and the rose , so pretty . I moved my roses last fall , we put in a new drive way so a tree and 3 flower bed had to be moved . I really planted a lot in my new rock garden next to the drive . My spring flowers are starting to bloom so pretty . Only spent $13.00 on the bulbs and that felt good . Got a lot . Then My neighbors brought lots of bulbs and plants even planted them then brought some malch , put it on . Wow that was a fun day . Now they keep looking and enjoying it . My roses are in back by the deck , My tulips are blooming there . I'm exited and hope things will fill out real soon . Love flowers so much and old things LOL . Come to my Blog any time .

  • Hope is the thing with feathers
    That perches in the soul,
And sings the tune without words,
    And never stops at all.
