I was sitting in our back yard late yesterday afternoon, and I was thinking of the many ways that my family is blessed. This song kept running through my mind. Here are the words as sung by Janice Cowan.
I can feel His mighty power and His grace
I can hear the brush of angels wings
I see glory on each face
Surely the presence of the Lord is in this place

Good morning my dear friend, Your yard is a beautiful and comforting place. I am imagining myself there right now. 'R' has an eye for beauty, just like you. He is the 'man', the yard man! Smile. Thanks for your help on my post. It looks terrific. I am going to take the credit. That is, before someone reads your post. I need to learn how to put color on my type. I think I can transfer photos. (sigh) So much to learn!
Love always, SJV

Definitely an appropriate song for that beautiful space! I just redid my Mom's patio -- amazing what a little love and some flowers can create. Thanks for sharing.

Bev,
I am so excited, I changed something on my comments and now I can link directly here. Your garden is lovely and the lyrics to that song are perfect. I hope you have a lovely Sunday. Karen

Oh, sign me up for tea in the garden! This is so beautiful and inviting!!!
Normally, I would be going to church right now. However, the Christian Performing Arts Studio—where I work and minister—is having a Music Department Showcase this afternoon. Much to do...
I just wanted to take a moment to tell you how much I appreciate your comments on my blog... Of course, I always appreciate comments, but you really take the time to absorb what you are seeing and shape responses. Your comments are above average. I get tickled because I feel like you are not only seeing what I saw, but adding something to the equation.
Be blessed my friend!

Beverly, I LOVE that song...one of my favorites! Your beautiful yard would certainly be place to pray, reflect on God's blessings, and feel His mighty presence! How Great Thou Art!
The salt and pepper shakers are beautiful. I couldn't participate this week, or next, but I'd love to get in on pink Saturday in a couple of weeks!

Your yard looks amazing, Bev! Being thankful opens us up to receiving all kinds of wonderful blessings. Between, I should give you my sincere thanks for your ALL comments left on my articles, Bev. How much I appreciate and value to hear from you that you do not know! Each one of yours is full of 'message'.
