My pink contribution for this Pink Saturday are these two rose botanical prints.
I have had these for many years, and they now hang in our dining next to our china cabinet.
It seems as if every time I look at these they are not straight. So, I straighten them again - until the next time our grandchild comes for a visit. Humm? I wonder why they are crooked after every visit.
This week we have eighty-eight participants in Pink Saturday. Wow!!! It seems that so many of us have fun with the color pink. I hope you are all enjoying this as much as I am.
Please take the time to visit the other participants, and leave them a comment to let them know you stopped by to enjoy their pink. Pink Saturday is about having fun, and giving us a chance to meet others in the blogging community. That is why it is important that we get out and visit each other. I realize there are a lot of participants, and it is time-consuming to visit. But, you don't have to visit every one all at once - just as you have time over the next few days. I promise you it is worth the effort because you will not only see lots of pink, you will meet incredibly nice people. Everyone likes to receive comments on their contributions.
I want to thank everyone that takes the time to leave me a comment. I love reading what you all have to say.

Wow, some of these Pinkies have a head start. Love your prints, I always have. I have crooked pictures all the time. I think the door slamming is the problem. How did your day go yesterday? I hope you had fun.
Love always...SJV

Beverly they are very pretty. I'll bet that striped papers gives the illusion of the pictures not being straight sometimes. Oh, those children/grandchildren of ours!!!
Happy Pink Saturday!
take care,

I love your *pink* and green pictures! So lovely! My pictures always go crooked too, and I don't even have grandchildren yet! Hmmmm, that means it has to be either my hubby or the dog!

Happy Pink Saturday!
These prints are fantastic!

Lovely prints. Know what you mean about keeping them straight. Do you put those little sticky picture bumpers on the lower corners? I find these usually hold the frames against the wall more securely, plus if you use the square chunky kind they also make the picture straighter, I mean they don't go in at the bottom, and look even better. Just a tip you maybe can try.
Plan to talk to you today hopefully - right now I'm heading to the market for more Sat. order - think I'll take a good walk too as it's cooler.
Have a fun day - and hope yesterday was nice with your grandson.

I have no pink offering, but I do have a post that'll make you chuckle.
I like your floral prints. They make something like a yellow clay that you buy in a hardware store that when stuck on the back corner of pictures, will keep them in place without harming the wall!
Posted by: Sally | August 23, 2008 at 09:27 AM
Beverly, you are just getting bigger and bigger...OOPS! I mean your Pink Saturday is just getting...well, I'm sure you understand.
Thank you for taking of this project - it's so much fun!
I'm not usually a botanical print person, but THOSE just speak to me! They're beautiful! I love them!
Happy Pink Saturday to you,
Hugs,

Hi Beverly,
I love your prints! I saw on a blog a week or two ago a product that helped solve the 'crooked' picture syndrome! If I run across it again, I'll email you!

Beautiful rose prints and yes I have the same problem with some of my prints too --they seem to lean and I'm always fiddling with them.
I have a pink house on my Victorian Flatbush tour! I'm trying to find pink...lol! Hugs, Pat

Hi Beverly! Your prints are just lovely, especially against that pretty wallpaper.
I find pictures on our family room wall are always crooked... from doors getting shut! Just enough vibration to jiggle them around a bit. A bit of foam tape on the corners of the frames helps.
Have a wonderful Pink Day! :)
