Today I am sharing something blue as part of Blue Monday at Smiling Sally. Please take the time to go visit the other participants.
The weekend before Thanksgiving my guys went to the Biltmore House. My sweet husband always brings me a surprise when he goes away, and this time he brought me this lovely box and handkerchief. It is a hinged box, and both wings open to a beautiful enamel box. The bottom of the box is a lovely mother-of-pearl. The butterfly is four inches at the widest point. The handkerchief was made in Switzerland, and the butterfly is made of exquisite embroidered flowers.

Beverly your box is so pretty as is the hankerchief. What a thoughtful gift from your guys. A lovely treasure from the Biltmore. Where did you put it? I sent you my rainbow photos. Check your E-mail.
Love you my dear friend...SJV

It's beautiful, but your husband's devotion is even more special. Happy Blue Monday!

OOOO, this is just beautiful. What a sweet hubby you have and it shows something about his personality and character that, first, he always thinks of YOU, and he picks out the most delightful things.
As good and sweet as Mr. SweetNothings is, he isn't a romantic, at all..and when he brings me a gift, it's a kitchen knife or a new set of needle nosed pliars or sox....tee hee...God love him...and so do I.
hugs, bj

First, promise me that when YOU come to the Biltmore, you will let me know and we will meet you there! Second, that is a beautiful butterfly! Did that come from the Biltmore? I would love to have one. You know I put a butterfly in every mosaic in memory of my Mom....I would love to have a small butterfly box!

Bev,
This is so beautiful. I love butterflies. Thank you for your prayers. Isn't the Lord wonderful when He whispers to us when someone needs prayer. I just know I will be okay, but you can never have enough prayers. Thank you again sweet lady.
