Oh how I love your irises this morning. I love the beautiful shade of lavender and if they were mine, I would have a bouquet of them in my house. Just let me loose with some snips. My irises are blooming and I will share them soon.
Have a beautiful iris filled day.
Love always...Jeanne

I love irises, and I don't get to see them. This place is too hot for them.

Spring walks are my favorite. Taking shots and enjoying the beauty.

So beautiful. I love the bridge that leads to the woods - so inviting!

Beautiful property! ... the bridge reminds me of the bridge the children cross in the film "Bridge to Terabithia!" ...very magical!

Dear friend, I am so so sorry I haven't been over in awhile..My daughter spent three days in New Orleans and I stayed with our sweets...I just never can find the time to blog when I am at their house.
I loved Erma, too, and have one of her books.
I wanted to be a dancer in the movies when I was little. Back then, the beautiful musicals were all the rage at the movies and I could sit for hours and watch Gene Kelly, Fred Astair, Ginger......then, one day...I grew up...BUMMER !!

I used to have a beautiful bed of iris in my old house. We moved here 10 years ago & I have never gotten around to planting iris. I ask myself all the time WHY? I love them. Thanks for sharing! Have you seen the iris on http://onceinabluemooniris.blogspot.com/Blog? Scroll down & look at hers. Drool will follow. But, oh my goodness the work. Thank you for sharing yours.

Such pretty iris, Beverly! I have to say that here in FL we are having such a wonderful spring season. Normally the temps are way high by now, along with the dreaded high humidity. Not so this year, beautiful breezy weather and the evenings are still a bit cool! Love it!:)
