Oh, I love your blog. Thanks so much for Higher Ground. I love the new songs at church, but how I miss the old hymns. That sounded like the choir at First Baptist of Alpharetta, GA. (Okay, maybe we weren't quite that good!) Have a wonderful Sunday.

Beautiful. Oh my, this brought back so many memories of days passed that I couldn't keep the tears from my eyes. I still sing this song but I miss singing it with others. Thank you for posting.

Thank you Beverly for sharing this beautiful old hymn, it brings back wonderful memories of when I would sit at my grandmothers feet while she sang these old hymns before retiring at night.
Blessings,
Sue

Hi Beverly, This is a song I haven't heard in a while. I believe the words and enjoy singing it too. Have a happy day today.

We used to sing this song a lot in the old days. It really brought back memories especially since it was sung a cappella which was the way we sang it in the Church of Christ.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Beverly,
Thanks for dropping by my blog. I haven't been on blogger since before Easter. We went to Disney, and since we returned things have been hectic. I don't know if you knew or not, but a little over a month ago, I found out I was pregnant, and I'm 43 years old - due around Labor Day, so I've have to cut back on blogging to prepare for my surprise. I too was sad to see Anoop go home, but I didn't think he would survive until the end. I'm sure he's glad to be back in Chapel Hill! ;o) Have a great week! Penny
