I've always wanted my own business, so I could place orders and play with my inventory! tee hee! (I like organizing things like that and I love paper work, I know that's pretty strange! tee hee!) I was never quite clear on exactly what kind of things I'd sell, as long as it was colorful!

I'm not sure I want to tell you. I already have a reputation for being VAIN. I accept that, because it is true. However, you may not know it, but I am less vain than I used to be. It could be because I am pushing 70 and I have a whole lot 'less' to be vain about. BIG smile. Ok here goes, I wanted to be a model. This is risky because now the 'vain' issue will pop it's ugly head again. I'm glad you love me no matter what.
Love you back...Jeanne

When I were a kid, my biggest dream was to be a dentist! Ohh I still remember like yesterday. How much I wanted to be a dental doctor, and I kept my dream alive till I learn the exam scores in college. And I was surprised. I was going to the Engineering department. Results made me cry a bit, but later on I loved so much technical lessons during the years spent in the Univ:)
Medicine was my desire. Today, all is OK, and I like technology and my background:)
Warm greetings from chilly rainy Ist'l~

Morning, Dear Beverly! You've changed your blog and it looks awesome!
Oh, now I wanted to be a disc jockey! Yep, with my southern accent and all!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia;)

Hi Beverly...oh what a question...haha...and I sure want to see your answer tomorrow! I wanted to be....
ROY ROGERS wife...honestly, I wished Dale Evans would ride off on her horse & not come back...then later, I wanted to be an ice skater even though I could hardly roller skate & have never been on ice skates...
BTW, I think Jeanne could still be a model!
Have a wonderful day, ;-) Bo

When I was really little I wanted to be a teacher (who didn't?), then I wanted to be a fashion designer when I learned to sew, and later on when I was in high school I wanted to be a physical therapist. I ended up going to school for massage therapy, but never really did anything with it because I got pregnant with my son (surprise, I didn't think I could get pregnant!). I have ALWAYS ALWAYS wanted to be a mom with a house full of kids. Well, I have one kid and well..... we're working on it. :) PS - Love your blog!

I loved to "play store" when we were kids and I always got to be the shop owner so I could set up my displays "just right"--forced my siblings to be customers. I also thought I'd be a beautician---my dear mom actually let me cut her hair and my sister's hair!! I wasn't too bad and mom operated under the theory that "it would grow back"--my sister wasn't so kind. When I went to college, I thought I would be a h.s. speech and drama teacher cuz I loved plays, but I ended up being a speech therapist when I found I could earn more money (at that time). I'm actually still working on what I WANT to be when I grow up! :) Happy Wed., L, Dana

I always wanted to be a teacher, from the time I was in first grade! I feel fortunate that I had 15 great years in the classroom, and hope to be able to go back.

A writer. Never anything but a writer. Before I could read, I wanted to be a writer.

I wanted to be a fashion illustrator in Manhattan. I did end up working in Manhattan for a very exciting career, but it was with computers. Art has been woven into my life ever since I was seventeen.

I'm 63 and when I was growing up all little girls wanted to be a mommy, a teacher, or a nurse. Not me. I wanted to be an elevator operator. Sadly, my dream died when self-service elevators came into being.

A doctor or a Registered Nurse - a missionary doctor or nurse! In Jr. High School my male school counselor who wasn't known for finesse or personality told me I'd never make it because my math grades were'nt good enough. B+?~Adrienne~

Hi Beverly, I wanted to be a teacher, or a fashion designer, or have some kind of store where I could write out receipts. I pretended with pads of paper all the time! LOL! I think I missed the mark on all of those when I did grow up. Actually I am still trying to decide what I want to be! LOL!
Enjoyed getting caught up with your posts! Hope all has been well with you! :) ~hugs, Rhonda

I always wanted to be a ballerina or a jockey. A think a jockey suits me better now because I didn't turn out to be very graceful.

That's easy. I always wanted to be a teacher. I never achieved that, but I was so fortunate to work in higher education as a administrative assistant for 10 years and I loved it. I have also enjoyed teaching marriage and family classes in our local community and church. I love teaching.

A school teacher or a dancer. LOL...I got a degree in teaching but never taught one single day. I still dance in the living room. :)

When I was in elementary school and the astronauts went to the moon I wanted to be an astronaut. Then I realized how much math & science was involved in that - not my best subjects. I'm definitely right-brained. During the Jr. High years we all thought we were going to Hollywood to either become members of a great band or movie stars. In HS and College I majored in business and minored in interior design but I really wanted to get married and have a family. It worked out perfect. The business gave me good jobs before marriage and those first couple of years of marriage and after that I've used the interior design eye to play in my house! I still watch those astronauts though and think they have really cool jobs!

When I was a little girl, I was always writing. I even had my own family newspaper for awhile.

I honestly don't remember, at least exactly....but when I was old enough to remember, I wanted to be a writer, a publisher, and a horse trainer. It's interesting because I'm a teacher, but other than playing "school" with the neighbor kids, I never remember wanting to be one! ;)

When I was little, "Emergency" and "Medical Center" were my favorite TV shows and I wanted to be a Paramedic so bad. I stuck with that till I realized I would have to "Stick" people all the time. Just couldn't do it....needle phobia! I came down with thyroid disease in my mid thirties and had to get stuck, A LOT. Soooooo, I have totally overcome MY needle phobia. They don't bother ME at all, but, I still don't think I could stick other people! I am a Child Care Provider...I like to kiss boo boos!!
