How Sweet The Sound: Pink Saturday

Happy Pink Saturday!

My pink contribution for this Pink Saturday is this pretty pink Limoges box. It is very small; two inches wide. I have had it about fifteen years, and it lives on a shelf in my home office.

This week we have one hundred fifty (150) participants in Pink Saturday. There are fourteen new participants, and you will find them at the bottom of the list. Let's all take time to welcome them to Pink Saturday

Please take the time to visit other participants, and leave a comment to let them know you stopped by to enjoy their pink. Pink Saturday is about having fun, and giving us a chance to meet others in the blogging community. I promise you it is worth the effort because you will not only see lots of pink, you will meet incredibly nice and talented people. Remember that my reminder e-mail stated I needed your plan for participating today no later than 8 a.m. EST yesterday. If you don't see your name and link here it is because I did not receive your plan for participating by that time.

I have just loved participating in Pink Saturday. In the past i probably wouldve thought Pink was not on my top five favorite colors but as i looked through YEARS of pics I was amazed how much pink i could find. Thanks for the thought inspiration. and FUN!!

I love Limoges boxes... one of my dearest friends used to collect them. I would look for hours at the details.

Dear Beverly,
what a beautiful box....I love the softness of the green and the pink
HAPPY PINK SATURDAY AND HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO YOUR HUSBAND.
Please give your sweet mama a hug...My beautiful 88 year old mil at the time broke her shoulder and the surgery was not successful for her and now at 90 she is so limited and in much pain. She broke her shoulder ball off the joint at the socket and now the muscles won't hold the socket in place....Your sweet mother has endured a lot and it is important to keep her spirits up and for them to be active in some way or their mental acuity gets weak.

Hi Beverly,

I have so much to catch up on, but I dearly loved the time with my granddaughter.

I love Limoges boxes, and yours is a stunner. My daughter has a wonderful collection. Her husband's parents started (when they married) giving her a box for each special occasion, so her collection grew, and grew. All of her boxes hold a special place in her heart but, her favorite is the one they gave her to commemorate the adoption of their daughter. It's very special.

Thanks for your kind words regarding my sweet Elise ;).
And, we also are having record high temps here - so hot!! Griff stays in the dorms at Duke, with NO air conditioning. I send a little fan with him though, so hopefully it won't be too bad. I worry so much about heat exhaustion playing lax in the heat all day long though.
