Happy Pink Saturday!
Did you take me up on this challenge?
****************************
My pink contribution for this Pink Saturday requires no words. It is the universal symbol of a common goal. We all pray for a cure for all cancers.
Please take the time to visit other participants, and leave a comment to let them know you stopped by to enjoy their pink. Pink Saturday is about having fun, and giving us a chance to meet others in the blogging community. I promise you it is worth the effort because you will not only see lots of pink, you will meet incredibly nice and talented people. Please refer to my post dated January 8 for more information about Pink Saturday.
Remember
that my reminder e-mail stated I needed your plan for participating
today no later than 8 a.m. EST Friday. If you don't see your name and link here it is because
I
did not receive your plan for participating by that time.
I want to thank those of you that take the time to leave me a comment. I love reading what you all have to say.

What's My Question Wednesday
I love What's My Question Wednesday. It is so interesting to read each of your perspectives on my question of the week. I hope you will begin to come by and take the time to answer my question. You will enjoy reading the other responses.

I've just been playing catch up on some of my favorite blogs...I sure have fallen behind..just working in the yard, on the house, grandkids...life! :O)
I remember when my dad had to give up driving and then, having to sell his car. It was very hard on him, too. That last little bit of independence is so heartbreaking to them when it is taken away. I am sure I will feel the same way. Please know, Beverly, that I will pray for comfort and contentment for your mother...and for you, my friend.
Happy Pinks!

Hi Beverly.
You posted such a nice pink reminder. I wish you a wonderful pink Saturday. Riet
PS. Can I ask for people in America to post on Friday evening. When it is midnight in California it is already 9 am here in Europe. I always visit the 10 last ones on the list first but like this morning there were 4 that had not posted yet. I want to visit as many people as possible but I don´t have the time to go there again. Thank you for listening.

It's amazing how it's these sad things that happen in life that can unite us worldwide.... but we can pray & hope together and trust that our prayers are being answered for someone, somewhere in the world - even if we never get to know them - God does - that's the power of prayer.
God Bless,
Elena :)

Good "Pink Saturday" Morning to you Beverly! Thank you for hosting once again an also for the reminder of that pink ribbon that is so important to all of us. Hi Beverly,
That is a perfect pink post! It truly is a symbol of hope. Both my mother and a sister are cancer survivors so like many others, I am grateful for the medical advances that continue to be made in treating this disease.

Perfect choice! I lost my dad to cancer decades ago and have many women friends battling the disease currently. I keep a photo of a baby girl in pink wearing a t-shirt saying "Find a cure before I grow boobs" in the sidebar on each of my Blogger Blogs and pray for a cure to all cancer and (as yet) 'incurable' disease ...
Thanks again for hosting Pink Saturday. I appreciate the warm welcome I received on my very first pink post last week from so many participants. I enjoyed meeting new bloggers and look forward to visiting again today. Welcome to all the 'newbies' ;--)
Happy weekend to all!

No truer post! I go for my mamos every year but a couple of years ago I kept putting it off and putting it off until the race for the cure here in my area. They kept showing it on TV and I thought, hmmmm, I better make my appointment. So I did. I had a bit of a scare, they told me I needed to go in for a biopsy. Thank goodness it was nothing but I do NOT put off my mamos any longer, I go diligently every year!
Happy Pink Saturday!

Hi Bev,
Happy Pink Saturday. Yes cancer is such a terrible thing, and it seems to touch all of us in some way. I wrote about Amy's struggle with cancer and asked if we could all send her a card. Our Pink Saturday friend, Sherry has been keeping us all up to date.
I hope you have a beautiful weekend.

Hi Beverly!
Happy Pink Saturday a day late...I was unexpectedly out all day yesterday as my daughter invited me over and we went shopping together and had dinner out. Catching up on everyone's pink posts today as hubby watches football on TV..lol
Pink has become such an iconic color of breat cancer ...it is good that it has grown in recognition because of it!
I forgot to add a blog to my pink post but I'll try to join in next week and add one! Nice idea!
