Happy Pink Saturday!

Did you take me up on this challenge?

This week I would like to offer each of you a simple challenge.  Visit at least one blog that you have never visited before.  Then next Saturday include that blog and a link in your post.  We all do this on occasion.  It is just a matter of introducing someone new to your followers.  What do you think?  Let's give it a try.

This weekly challenge is catching on with quite a few of you.  I think we should continue.  We even have some new participants this week due to the challenge.

My pink contribution for this Pink Saturday is another one of the sweet dolls I had when I was a child.  I received her from Santa Claus one Christmas in the late 1950s.  She is in her original outfit, and I love her adorable little face.

This week we have one hundred fifty-seven (157) participants in Pink Saturday.  There are seven new participants, and you will find them at the bottom of the list.  Let's all take time to welcome them to Pink Saturday.  All participants are listed in the order in which they began participating.

Please take the time to visit other participants, and leave a comment to let them know you stopped by to enjoy their pink.  Pink Saturday is about having fun, and giving us a chance to meet others in the blogging community.  I promise you it is worth the effort because you will not only see lots of pink, you will meet incredibly nice and talented people.  Please refer to my post dated January 8 for more information about Pink Saturday.

Hi Beverly! I am posting late today as we had ballet rehearsales run from very early morning till 2pm now! Off to a nap haha! Beautiful Doll! My Grandmother recently passed on and left all her Grandaughters her massive doll collection so I believe I saw one like this in there that one of my cousins got. I would love to know where you house and display her!!

Hi Beverly...I have a doll on my post as well today, but I bought her as an adult. Is your little doll a Madam Alexander? I have a few of those as well, one of which was purchased for my mother in 1958. She is an Alice in Wonderland doll, but I probably won't show her, because I cut all her hair off and threw away her originl dress...how dumb was that??? I eventually bought a wig and made another dress, but her value has diminished, however, still worth about $90...at least to a collector. Have a wonderful day, and thanks again for being our wonderful hostess for this great event!

Dear Beverly..Sigh...I missed participating in pink Saturday as we have had major problems in our area with Comcast our carrier. What a wonderful doll - and in such pristine condition!

I'm afraid I wasn't very kind to mine - I cut their hair (I think I really expected it to grow back) and they all ended up with crew cuts. Was I in trouble! Then I tried to make it better by glueing hats on (which didn't work too well, and I got in trouble for that too). After that, I stuck to Lego and my teddy bear.
