Happy Pink Saturday!
Did you take me up on this challenge?
****************************
My pink contribution for this Pink Saturday is another one of my dolls. This one was given to me in 1955 by an aunt and uncle. She is a walking doll, but she lost one of her shoes.
This week we have one hundred fifty-six (156) participants in Pink Saturday. There are six new participants, and you will find them at the bottom of the list. Let's all take time to welcome them to Pink Saturday. All participants are listed in the order in which they began participating.
Please take the time to visit other participants, and leave a comment to let them know you stopped by to enjoy their pink. Pink Saturday is about having fun, and giving us a chance to meet others in the blogging community. I promise you it is worth the effort because you will not only see lots of pink, you will meet incredibly nice and talented people. Please refer to my post dated January 8 for more information about Pink Saturday.
Remember
that my reminder e-mail stated I needed your plan for participating
today no later than 8 a.m. EST Friday. If you don't see your name and link here it is because
I
did not receive your plan for participating by that time.
I
want to thank those of you that take the time to leave me a comment. I
love reading what you all have to say.

Happy Pink Saturday Beverly. What a lovely doll. I played a lot with my dolls when I was little and they didn't survive as well as your lovely lady here. I did have a Madame Alexander doll, which I mostly left on her stand.
Great turn out today. Thanks for hosting this fun event. Hope your day is rosy.

Good morning Beverly. Your doll is adorable even with her missing shoe. Now, how did that happen? You could go on Ebay to find her a new pair of shoes. Poor baby.
Yes, I did buy that bed. I couldn't resist. The bear is my sister's. Just a little staging here. This week we will have new photos of our puppy. We are thinking of calling her Lea' Accent on the a. It is a French name. Lea' Carmin. Carmin means red in French. I have looked at French girls names and this was short and cute.
Enjoy your day.
Note: Typepad is driving me crazy. I centered my text and photos when I wrote my post and it didn't center anything but your logo. I had to go back and center each individual thing. Bah!!!
Love you, Jeanne

Wow! Thought I'd be an early bird this AM and be in the first of 10 to Thank you for another fun Pink Saturday. I'm #25...there are some real early PinkBirdies or is it the timezone difference? I too, have some special hankies from my Grandmother Minne. They are framed with a crocheted doily. I'll have to show them soon...they are blue. Barbara's commuter solution is a scream. I'd give up a bunch of my hankies to have back my 'Walking Doll'. I don't know what happened to her...I hope all she's lost is one shoe and someone has her in their collection. Yours is so sweet and lucky to have you to love her forever....Sue

Good Morning, Dear Beverly!
It feels good to finally be back!!! Hope you are having a wonderful day. Love your doll. She reminds me of one I used to have. The problem with my dolls is that they got loved to death, and my mother didn't keep them. I would often take them to the "Little Shop of Horrors" for a haircut and a manicure, and they didn't return. ;-) I ruined several perfectly good dolls being the un-stylist. Thank goodness I never pursued that as an occupation.
And thank YOU for hosting us!
Happy Pink Saturday...
XO,
Sheila :-)

Hi Beverly, Happy Pink Saturday. She's beautiful and I am so glad you still have her. I don't have any dolls but I do still have the doll cradle and ward robe my father made for my fashion dolls. Soon I will be passing it on to my granddaughter and her soon to be sister. I heard the other day that they have a new American Girl doll and her story is she lives in a car with her mother...she is homeless. The company says they are just being realistic but I say whatever happen to make believe and everything is magical when you are a little girl. I just don't know.

Pretty doll.
My Sat post was made on Thur to tie into Thur and Sat. Since it is not a Mr. Linky do it yourself situation...I don't know how to direct wonderful bloggers to the post below the automatic Fri post that is coming up? I was inspired to do the Fri post and I guess it is confusing. Sorry that it is not an easy read.
I just have a shot of my beagle with his pink hippo toy. Happy Pink Sat. :)

Thank you for another fun Pink Saturday Beverly!
I love your doll and think it is so neat that you still have these. I was a tomboy as a child and if I was given a doll I would cut their hair and totally destroy them- needless to say I don't have any dolls from long ago! My mother still cannot believe I ended up grown up and loving frilly pink things.

Hello . . . finally!
I had the sale Fr. and Sat. and then today and tonight, our family was together to celebrate hubby's b.day and "tag" our Christmas trees. They just left and I am soooo beat! :) I did want to take a few minutes to visit the Queen of Pink! Your walking doll is such a treasure. . . even minus a shoe. I received a walking doll when I was 6 and loved her. Her face looked very much like doll's. I don't have her, however. Sure wish I did!
Hope your Pink weekend was a grand one!!! It looks like you had a great turn out for the celebration of great pinks once again!
Have a great week. I'm going to bed! Nite!! L, Dana
