Happy Pink Saturday Beverly. What a lovely doll. I played a lot with my dolls when I was little and they didn't survive as well as your lovely lady here. I did have a Madame Alexander doll, which I mostly left on her stand.

Great turn out today. Thanks for hosting this fun event. Hope your day is rosy.

Good Morning, Beverly!
I smiled when I saw another little beauty from your doll collection being shared today. How sweet that it came from an Aunt and an Uncle. I especially like the eyes on the older dolls.

Thanks again for all you do to make PS come together each week!

Hi My gold blogger friend!!!thanks for pink saturday! I know you work hard like host.
I love your doll!!!so, almost all dolls has lost its shoes...always!!

just beautiful post!

xoxoxo

jeanne

Good morning Beverly. Your doll is adorable even with her missing shoe. Now, how did that happen? You could go on Ebay to find her a new pair of shoes. Poor baby.

Yes, I did buy that bed. I couldn't resist. The bear is my sister's. Just a little staging here. This week we will have new photos of our puppy. We are thinking of calling her Lea' Accent on the a. It is a French name. Lea' Carmin. Carmin means red in French. I have looked at French girls names and this was short and cute.

Enjoy your day.

Note: Typepad is driving me crazy. I centered my text and photos when I wrote my post and it didn't center anything but your logo. I had to go back and center each individual thing. Bah!!!

Love you, Jeanne

love the doll. have a great week.

You must have an extensive doll collections. You may have told us at some time, but if so I did not see it. Regardless, this one is a cutie, shoe or no shoe.

Wow! Thought I'd be an early bird this AM and be in the first of 10 to Thank you for another fun Pink Saturday. I'm #25...there are some real early PinkBirdies or is it the timezone difference? I too, have some special hankies from my Grandmother Minne. They are framed with a crocheted doily. I'll have to show them soon...they are blue. Barbara's commuter solution is a scream. I'd give up a bunch of my hankies to have back my 'Walking Doll'. I don't know what happened to her...I hope all she's lost is one shoe and someone has her in their collection. Yours is so sweet and lucky to have you to love her forever....Sue

Sheila

Good Morning, Dear Beverly!

It feels good to finally be back!!! Hope you are having a wonderful day. Love your doll. She reminds me of one I used to have. The problem with my dolls is that they got loved to death, and my mother didn't keep them. I would often take them to the "Little Shop of Horrors" for a haircut and a manicure, and they didn't return. ;-) I ruined several perfectly good dolls being the un-stylist. Thank goodness I never pursued that as an occupation.

And thank YOU for hosting us!

Happy Pink Saturday...

XO,

Sheila :-)

Nancy

It is absolutely wonderful that you still have your dolls.

Wishing you a Happy Pink Saturday!

Deb

What a sweet doll Beverly. I had a large walking doll like that too :-) I loved Sheila's comment about the "little shop of horrors" beauty parlour - I think we all gave our dolls those haircuts :-)
Have a wonderful weekend♥

liz

She's lovely and the lost shoe just adds to her charm. Have a Happy Pink Saturday :)

Tricia

Good Morning, Beverly,
Sorry I didn't get my post up earlier. Gotta get used to this and I slept in today. Ha! I love the doll - it was born the same year I was. My first doll was Tiny Tears. Do you remember that one? Thanks for stopping my blog today - hope you get a chance to stop again now that I have put up my pics. Have a wonderful Saturday!

~*~ Patty Szymkowicz

Hi Beverly, Happy Pink Saturday. She's beautiful and I am so glad you still have her. I don't have any dolls but I do still have the doll cradle and ward robe my father made for my fashion dolls. Soon I will be passing it on to my granddaughter and her soon to be sister. I heard the other day that they have a new American Girl doll and her story is she lives in a car with her mother...she is homeless. The company says they are just being realistic but I say whatever happen to make believe and everything is magical when you are a little girl. I just don't know.

Sandi

Always enjoy your Pink Saturday posts! The dollie is adorable and is in such good condition too. Enjoy your weekend.

Blessings,
Sandi

DeniseMarie

Pretty doll.

My Sat post was made on Thur to tie into Thur and Sat. Since it is not a Mr. Linky do it yourself situation...I don't know how to direct wonderful bloggers to the post below the automatic Fri post that is coming up? I was inspired to do the Fri post and I guess it is confusing. Sorry that it is not an easy read.

I just have a shot of my beagle with his pink hippo toy. Happy Pink Sat. :)

Ooops - I did notice that one shoe! This is to be expected as she was played with and loved!

Susan

Hi Beverly...what a sweet doll! I was noticing how beautiful her hair is...you really took care of your dolls, didn't you? Her dress is precious. She's wonderful! Thanks for sharing her! Happy Pink Saturday!
Susan

mary

Thank you for another fun Pink Saturday Beverly!
I love your doll and think it is so neat that you still have these. I was a tomboy as a child and if I was given a doll I would cut their hair and totally destroy them- needless to say I don't have any dolls from long ago! My mother still cannot believe I ended up grown up and loving frilly pink things.

Happy PiNk to you!

I love your dollie...what
I would give to have my
dolls and many other goodies
from my childhood. I guess
due to my military childhood
my mom gave up on how to
keep anything with all the
moving we did.

Have a wonderful day,

Your doll is very pretty even if she only has 1 shoe, Beverly...Christine

Sares@ Loveleigh Treasures

She's a sweetie! The only doll I have is a beat up cabbage patch doll and some Madame Alexander dolls (the Little Women set) that have seen their better days. I do have lots of stuffed animals though. I can't bear to part with most of them. Happy Pink Saturday and have a great Sunday!

Char

Lovely Pink Saturday post and sweet blog, too. Woke up to a dusting of snow on the ground so even thought this isn't Saturday I really needed a boost! Today you made me smile...

Sorry, I didn't get to see everyone yesterday. I had important business. My 11 year-old grandson was playing football and he wanted Mimi to go to the out-of-town-last-of-the-season-game. THEY WON AGAINST AN UNDEFEATED TEAM! WOO-HOO! 35 - 17☺

Hope the coming week blesses you with sunshine, happiness and good friends.

Charo

Patricia

Oh, Beverly - there is nothing sweeter than pink gingham. What a beautiful doll. I hope you have a wonderful new week.

dana

Hello . . . finally!

I had the sale Fr. and Sat. and then today and tonight, our family was together to celebrate hubby's b.day and "tag" our Christmas trees. They just left and I am soooo beat! :) I did want to take a few minutes to visit the Queen of Pink! Your walking doll is such a treasure. . . even minus a shoe. I received a walking doll when I was 6 and loved her. Her face looked very much like doll's. I don't have her, however. Sure wish I did!

Hope your Pink weekend was a grand one!!! It looks like you had a great turn out for the celebration of great pinks once again!

Have a great week. I'm going to bed! Nite!! L, Dana

darnold23

I'm so sorry that I missed out this week. I was rather "under the weather" and did not do much in the way of blogging. I apologize for not letting you know. I will be participating next Saturday if you will include me. Thanks again.

Romantic bed and breakfasts

I think there is a revival of child's play after watching this scary doll.So scary man!! What a dreadful thing...

Marsha

Ah, our childhood dolls!

I'm a wee bit behind in my making my rounds but who says we can't celebrate Pink Saturday all week long, right?!?

Have a wonderful week!

Hugs,
