Happy Pink Saturday!
This week we have one hundred sixty-eight (168) participants in Pink Saturday. There are twelve new participants, and you will find them at the bottom of the list. Let's all take time to welcome them to Pink Saturday. All participants are listed in the order in which they began participating.
Please take the time to visit other participants, and leave a comment to let them know you stopped by to enjoy their pink. Pink Saturday is about having fun, and giving us a chance to meet others in the blogging community. I promise you it is worth the effort because you will not only see lots of pink, you will meet incredibly nice and talented people. Please refer to my post dated January 8 for more information about Pink Saturday.
Remember that my reminder e-mail stated I needed your plan for participating today no later than 8 a.m. EST Friday. If you don't see your name and link here it is because I did not receive your plan for participating by that time.
I want to thank those of you that take the time to leave me a comment. I love reading what you all have to say.
Reminder - We have a weekly challenge for you to visit the blog of at least one participant that you have never visited before. Then next Saturday include that blog and a link in your post. Quite a few of you have been done this challenge, and have met some of the great Pink Saturday participants. Thank you for sharing with us.
****************************
Today we are having a very special Pink Saturday. I received the following e-mail from Kelee at The Katillac Shack:
Yes, I will be participating with a VERY special Pink Saturday post. I will be showing a room created with Frankie--a cancer survivor--and also doing a fundraiser for another woman who has breast & bone cancer --and may lose her home for her little kids-- because she is in treatment. For every comment at my blog and YOURS on Pink Saturday my Design Gives Back Foundation will donate $l.00 to Colette's home fund. If you could let folks know about what we can all do together that day I would appreciate it! So, the total comments from your blog and mine for Pink Saturday will earn a donation from my foundation to help this needy family. So, if we get 100 comments--a donation of $100 will be made in Beverly's Pink Saturday Blog Party name--to Colette Gauthier Home Fund. Let me know if this sounds good to you!Love and Gratitude!Kelee Katillac
My pink contribution for this Pink Saturday is to ask that everyone reading this post and each of the 168 participants we have today leave me a comment, and then go straight over to The Katillac Shack and leave another comment. Just look at how much we can help Colette by the simple act of leaving two comments.
Please do this for me. Please do it for Colette. And, please do it for yourself and everyone you know and love. Unfortunately, we all know someone impacted by cancer. In fact, we have many participants who are at this moment fighting cancer, and happily we have many cancer survivors.
Let's all band together and show the power of pink. Pink Saturday has wonderful and caring participants and visitors. And, many thanks to Kelee for doing this for Colette and for everyone.
*********************************
The time for leaving a comment has been extended through Sunday, January 31. The goal is 400 comments. Thank you for helping.

Thank you everyone for helping support my Mom. In the midst of the darkness, there's a Light that shines through. Please keep her in your hearts and in your prayers. She will make it through this, but she needs the positive support of friends, family, and even people who are just kind of enough to send her an uplifting message. Thank you all.

I believe that cancer has touched most of our lives in one way or another.
If this helps one tiny bit, then that is a good thing.

Life changes so quickly, everyone. I went from a life with a family to being without a husband and diagnosed with cancer in such a short time. Just when I think my life is falling apart, all of you come and try to help me keep it together. It is so overwhelming that there are truly happy tears in the midst of the madness. OUR GOD IS BIGGER THAN CANCER!

Thank you for doing such a wonderful thing for Colette and her family. This April 2 years ago I lost one of my sweetest and dearest friends Harriett to breast cancer. June of 2009 another long time friend of mine was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. With treatments and her faith in the Lord she is fighting the good fight. She is such a blessing to be around. Then last august my Mom was diagnosed with cancer. She had surgery and praise God is 100% cancer free now.Back in 1962 she had cervical cancer (before Chemo.) and spent close to a year fighting it.I was a child and didn't understand what was really going on and back then they didn't do much talking about it like now. So once again I would like to say thank you for your help for Colette.

Amazing how much Pink Saturday has grown since I first discovered it. Always so much to see and learn by visiting all the entries. Regrettably, time constraints are making it harder each week to get to everyone. So forgive me if it takes me a few days to visit your PS posting.
Beverly, thank you for all the work you do on behalf of Pink Saturday.
A comment for Colette is a small thing but I will see that Colette is also added to our prayer chain. Prays ascending.
