Happy Pink Saturday!
This week we have one hundred sixty-four (164) participants in Pink Saturday. There are nine new
participants, and you will find them at the bottom of the
list. Let's all take time to welcome them to Pink Saturday. All participants are listed in the order in which they began participating.
Please take the time to visit other participants, and leave a comment to let them know you stopped
by to enjoy their pink. Pink Saturday
is about having fun, and giving us a chance to meet others in the
blogging community. I promise you it
is worth the effort because you will not only see lots of pink,
you
will meet incredibly nice and talented people. Please refer to my post dated January 8 for more information about Pink Saturday.
Remember
that my reminder e-mail stated I needed your plan for participating
today no later than 8 a.m. EST Friday. If you don't see your name and link here it is because
I
did not receive your plan for participating by that time.
I
want to thank those of you that take the time to leave me a comment. I
love reading what you all have to say.
Reminder
- We have a weekly challenge for you to visit the blog of at least one
participant that you have never visited before. Then next Saturday
include that blog and a link in your post. Quite a few of you have
been done this challenge, and
have met some of the great Pink Saturday participants. Thank you for
sharing with us.

My pink contribution for this Pink Saturday is one of my Pink Depression Glass Iced Beverage glasses in the Mayfair pattern. I finally have six of these glasses, but I hope to get at least four more. Depression glass was widely produced and sold during a time when most could not afford pretty things. It was not marketed as "Depression Glass", but has since been tagged such due to the era of the time it was produced. Pink Depression Glass is also one of the most highly reproduced, and you have to be careful if you want original. There are many beautiful reproductions though.
I also want to thank each and every one of you for your thoughts, prayers and kindness during my illness and resulting surgery. The surgery was one week ago yesterday, and I continue to improve every day. I have done some work from home since this past Wednesday, and it is my plan to return to work Monday. I have tried to take an outing the last few days, and while I did get tired, it was good to be out and about a bit.
Here are our Pink Saturday participants this week:
I hope everyone has fun with
Pink Saturday.
Even if you couldn't participate today, be sure to go visit those who
did, and leave them a comment so they will know you visited.
Get Pink !!!
It's not just a color, it's an attitude.
You are welcome to use the Pink Saturday
button to display on your blog. I've been spotting it on quite a few of your
blogs. Do you have yours yet?
Pink Saturday is fun.
