I love Hydrangeas. I always think they are hard to care for like does the soil need to be very acidic or something? I love the way they change colors. Blue is the prettiest. Thanks for the show.

Good morning Beverly, This hydrangea bush is beautiful. Did you know if you pick them they last a very long time? I want to grow some one of these days. Right now I have some rhubarb to plant, along with a red climbing rose and some Blackeyed Susans. Chives too, I almost forgot about the chives. It is always something.
Have a happy day.
Love you, Jeanne

Oh, Beverly, they are really pretty, and I appreciate them so much since they don't do that well in my part of Texas. Or at least in my flower beds. So I've had a few faux ones...LOL! Yours are so perfect...are you sure they aren't FAUX, too? Have a great week! See ya on Saturday for the Big TaDoParty!

They are beautiful! Are they in shade or sun? I want to plant some and am trying to decide if they would work best in the front or the back of the house.

Beverly, do you cut the flowers and dry them? If so, when and how? I have 9 hydrangeas in my yard and want to save some of the flowers this year, but I'm not sure how to do it. Thanks.

Beverly, I knew your love of roses and the breathtaking garden you have, but now you have more. I am glad we have one thing in common, a love of beautiful flowers.

How beautiful your hydrangea are! I am trying so hard to grow some like yours! I have a different type that looks wonderful. I keep going to my daughter's yard and rooting hydrangeas. For they have all died when I bought them. lol They are so wonderful to enjoy as a bush, cut flowers, or dried. I just love them!

I DO love hydrangeas---any color. And I miss them---we just haven't had any luck growing them up here in the Heartland.
So Thank You for sharing yours!!! Just lovely.

I L-O-V-E Hydrangeas! When we moved into this house I was blessed to have three gorgeous bushes of blue. Slowly as we've changed things around here and added a fence on one side of the house I'm losing my hydrangeas. Not all of it planned! One hydrangea is behind the fence near the door of the little garden shed - not seen from anywhere except the door of the shed. One had to be taken out to install the fence and the remaining one on the front side of the new fence was doing well. It was gorgeous! WAS gorgeous - until my sweetheart thought he was doing the right thing to cut it all down at the wrong time of the year! Now it's small and sprouting new, green leaves but it's doubtful it will have any blooms this year. I'm thinking of adding another near my front door - and Everlasting that will bloom forever! Thanks for sharing yours - I needed that!

Hi Beverly! Your hydrangeas are beautiful! I just finished planting a small bush that my husband bought me for Mother's Day...it has just 4 blooms on it! Someday it will be as big as yours! :)
Happy Blue Monday!

Hi Beverly, I just had to come and compliment your beautiful hydrangeas. Here in the Piedmont mine have buds but are not quite ready to open yet. These are one of my very favorite flowers. My younger daughter carried them in her wedding last year too. Enjoy yours, I can't wait for mine to bloom!
