Good morning Beverly, I played the song and CC was listening and looking at me like I was singing it. It was funny. A favorite of mine.
We were out a better part of the day. We went to Lowe's and bought some flowers to plant as well as 4 hanging baskets for the deck. I like them all to match. I bought fushia plants. They are real full of buds in the prettiest pink. They were only 10.99. My kind of price. I will post everything on Weds. Lots of digging to do and not to mention weed pulling. Ugh! My iris plants are amazing. From five plants they have spread to many. Dark purple, variegated light purple and yellow. Gorgeous.
Last night we went to the Performing Arts Center again for the Senior Follies. It was great. We have lots of oldsters who have talent here. Lots of fun. We are so lucky to have this gorgeous building. Some culture is always good. We are loving it!!!
Have a wonderful day.
Love always, Jeanne

I have precious memories of my daughter's great-grandpa rocking them to sleep singing this song.
He was a great man of faith, and helped shape my husband's relationship with the Lord. So, thank you for posting this! :)

My mother-in-law loved Eddy Arnold, especially this song. Your post brought good memories of her. ♥

I used to listen to Eddie Arnold back in the 1950s. He sings this old hymn beautifully. Thank you for sharing it.
Blessings,
Charlotte

Hi Dear Sis! Oh, I just love this old hymn! I led the worship in church today and selected three old hymns for us to sing! We have a more blended worship - mostly praise music but I do try to toss in a few olden hymns. They seem to come alive again!
Oh, thank you for the advice about the blue pillows. I wonder what shade of blue? Dark or a lighter shade! I never did realize my rust, well, I've learned the color today is correctly called 'brick' would be so hard to add other colors to.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
