Happy Pink Saturday!
This week we have one hundred eighty-six (186) participants in Pink Saturday. There are nine new participants, and you will find them at the bottom of the list. Let's all take time to welcome them to Pink Saturday. All participants are listed in the order in which they began participating.
Please take the time to visit other participants, and leave a comment to let them know you stopped by to enjoy their pink. Pink Saturday is about having fun, and giving us a chance to meet others in the blogging community. I promise you it is worth the effort because you will not only see lots of pink, you will meet incredibly nice and talented people. Please refer to my post dated January 8 for more information about Pink Saturday.
Remember that my reminder e-mail stated I needed your plan for participating today no later than 8 a.m. EST Friday. If you don't see your name and link here it is because I did not receive your plan for participating by that time.
Reminder - We have a weekly challenge for you to visit the blog of at least one participant that you have never visited before. Then next Saturday include that blog and a link in your post. Quite a few of you have been done this challenge, and have met some of the great Pink Saturday participants. Thank you for sharing with us.
****************************
Be certain to remember our 2nd Birthday Celebration coming soon - May 29.
I am certain there will be balloons and cakes.
And, I will be having a Pink giveaway !!!
I hope everyone will post so we will have a large turnout.
My pink contribution for this Pink Saturday is to share this request I received from one of our Pink Saturday participants.
Comment:Hey Bev...tomorrow I'm posting about Simone @ The Bottom of the Ironing Basket running for breast cancer, and asking my readers for their support in sponsoring her. Will you please help me with this? None of us are untouched by this tragic cancer as we all know someone who has been diagnosed. I wouldn't usually do this, but I think it's important. Simone is a beautiful, brilliant young mother who creates the most wonderful blogs. Thanks, Marsha
Thank you to Marsha for sharing this special you woman with all of us, and for sharing this opportunity to support pink. The meaning of hope and love is what Pink Saturday is all about.♥ Please visit Simone Runs For The Cure.

I love these Pick Saturdays. Your roses are beautiful, some little varmint got to the roots of my rose bushes so I really don't think I am going to have to many roses this year. I am sharing with everyone some of my vintage pink loves.

Good morning Beverly, love those beautiful roses. When is the photo competition for your roses? I would never get tired of seeing your gorgeous roses.
We have another long day ahead today. At least shopping antique malls is easier the an outdoor extravaganza. No wind and sun. I am sunburned a bit.
Have a wonderful day.
Love you, Jeanne

Good Morning Bev...Thank you for hosting HPS.I love your roses a lovely way to start my day.Sun is back up here but still cool ,we have not had spring in a long time in Mass.I saw Beachplum roses in bloom on the dunes I will have to get photos.
Posted by: Denise | May 15, 2010 at 05:39 AM
Dear Bev,
Such beautiful roses, I love pink roses. Spring in Massachusetts has been quite confusing...one day we have cool fall-like weather, the next day we have unseasonably warm days. The gardens are blooming though, I guess the flowers have be be hardy to survive the cold days. Roses have not bloomed yet, but soon. Happy Pink Saturday.

Happy Pink Saturday, Beverly!! Those roses look like the ones growing at our gym. Last Friday, after class, Marian and I(WITH PERMISSION) snipped six of the beautiful blooms and took them home to enjoy. Actually, they were open and the weather was predicted to be stormy (and it was). We figured they'd last longer at our homes than on the bush. The fragrance was incredible!
It is such a good thing for us to support breast cancer awareness fundraisers---there are so many avenues available for us to do that. Good luck to Simone and her team.
Hope you have a super-duper day! L, dana

I never tire of Roses, however, my Roses are getting tired and are suffering from DDDS. Yep it's a Rose flaw that happens in Texas....maybe elsewhere...don't see any of it on your beautiful roses. Hope they are spared awhile longer. Thanks for Pink Saturday and all that you do and share. You know how much I love it and YOU!
