This week we have two hundred eighty (280) participants in Pink Saturday.  There are ten new participants, and you will find them at the bottom of the list.  Let's all take time to welcome them to Pink Saturday.  All participants are listed in the order in which they began participating.

Please take the time to visit other participants, and leave a comment to let them know you stopped by to enjoy their pink.  Pink Saturday is about having fun, and giving us a chance to meet others in the blogging community.  I promise you it is worth the effort because you will not only see lots of pink, you will meet incredibly nice and talented people.  Please refer to my post dated January 8 for more information about Pink Saturday.

Remember that my reminder e-mail stated I needed your plan for participating today no later than 8 a.m. EST Friday.  If you don't see your name and link here it is because I did not receive your plan for participating by that time.

I want to thank those of you that take the time to leave me a comment.  I love reading what you all have to say.

Wow!!! Can you believe that it has been two years since we started sharing Pink Saturday?  My first Pink Post was April 12, 2008, and the first day others started posting with me was May 31, 2008.  The first two participants were Donna at Donna's - In The Attic and Jeanne at Backyard Neighbor.  Here is a link to that post.  The second week there were an additional twelve new participants, and it has continued to grow and grow.  Here is a link to the second week post.  Just look where we are now.  At some time close to 800 different people that have participated in Pink Saturday.

And, how very exciting that Pink Saturday is featured in the May/June/July 2010 issue of Artful Blogging.  I am so honored, and I hope you all are just as excited.  It is each of you that have made Pink Saturday special.The article is to honor this day, the second birthday of Pink Saturday.

I am celebrating all of you today by featuring a Pink Saturday giveaway.  Just follow my blog on Google Friend Connect and leave a comment on this post before noon Thursday, June 3 to be eligible to win.  I will use a random integer to choose the winning comment, and I will announce the winner next Pink Saturday, June 3.

I read the original post about that box. I thought it looked Russian. It reminded of the pictures of the eggs that used to be traditional. I think the story is lovely; going back with your husband to the show and him seeing your treasure and knowing it was worth the splurge. That is so charming and romantic!
