Good morning Beverly, this post is a very nice remembrance to our soldiers who have given their lives protecting our country. It truly makes me sad on this special day in the honor of American men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice. I think of their families who were left to mourn them as well.

Have a happy Memorial day.
Love you,
Jeanne

Good morning Beverly. Your feature honoring our service people is very, very nice and also touching. It is so sad we have so many of these little crosses that perhaps should have never had to be usd.

Connie

Amen, sugar. Our flag is flying in the front yard today....

I've been to Arlington Cemetary and will never forget that experience.

G'morning....we fly our flag every day that is dry or not too windy. It seems to be flying just a tiny bit higher today, tho.

Lest We Forget, Happy Blue Monday <3

I still like the term Decoration Day---it makes me think of many trips to the cemeteries to "decorate" the graves when I was small. However, even when I was a kiddo, our family put flowers on the graves of all of our deceased family members/friends....not just the military.

Hope your day was peaceful! L, Dana

Very moving image Beverly~~
How greatful I am to live in the USA and humbled by the soldiers spirit and fighting for our freedom. We had a memorable memorial day weekend~~spent time at the Riversdie National Cemetery and cheered on thouseands of motorcylces leading a processing to honor our fallen soldiers.

Have a blessed week:)
