I saw Kenny in person, years ago. He was on OPRAH last week with Dolly...71 years old...I'd still buy a ticket :D

I love Kenny Rogers. I actually met him in person back in 1975-76. Spent some time back stage talking to him. I new a member in the band that played before Kenny and he brought me back stage to met him. It was quite the thrill!

Hi Beverly, I do love Kenny Rogers. This song is one of his best.
Busy day getting things done and we are going to pick up Bryce's cake. He does look like his dad. No senior pictures...Sigh! Thank you for your lovely comment.
Have a happy day.
Love you, Jeanne

I've always loved this song and Kenny, too. He seems like such a genuinely kind man. I'm still making the PS party rounds ~ how about yoU?!
I'm having a WEDDING BLOG PARTY on June 25th (my first ever to hostess!) so please stop by if you are interested and read about it ~ I'd love to have you join us! And there will be another sweet giveaway, too!
Big TX Hugs,

Beverly, I love Kenny too. I met him at Carowinds (in Charlotte) years ago. Now you know how old I am. For him to have been playing at a theme park, it tells my age.

This country Bumpkin likes him, too!
