Happy Pink Saturday !

This week we have one hundred eighty-four (184) participants in Pink Saturday.  There are five new participants, and you will find them at the bottom of the list.  Let's all take time to welcome them to Pink Saturday.  All participants are listed in the order in which they began participating.

Please take the time to visit other participants, and leave a comment to let them know you stopped by to enjoy their pink.  Pink Saturday is about having fun, and giving us a chance to meet others in the blogging community.  I promise you it is worth the effort because you will not only see lots of pink, you will meet incredibly nice and talented people.  Please refer to my post dated January 8 for more information about Pink Saturday.

Thank you, Beverly, for allowing me to share my blog site with you every week.  I have been actively posting every Pink Saturday for almost 2 years now which was about the time I started blogging.  I enjoy meeting so many wonderful people and so love reading everyone's pink posts each week.  A little bit about me:  I have been quilting for about 9 years now and it is a true passion of mine.  I have also stumbled upon making pillows and pincushions and so many other little lovelies.  No matter what I create, design or sew, I always find my way back to quilting.  My style is definitely traditional and the majority of the quilts I make are baby quilts.  Primarily because I love to give them as gits and my sewing machine cannot quilt anything larger!  I hope you enjoy your visit to Quilts Galore and More blogspot.  Funny, I normally post so many of my pillows on my blog, but today I will be featuring all my recent quilts I've made as well as a favorite one of mine that I won in a bidding tug-a-war on e-bay a few years ago.

• Niki at Maison Mutt

A move across country landed me in search of a new way to spend my days (and nights).  As a born creator and lover of all things "chien" (dog), developing high-end dog bedding and jackets and opening an internet business seemed like a no-brainer.  My French heritage offered up the perfect name.  Ah, but to sit and blog was a different monster. It was primarily on the advice (and a little "bull dogging" from friends), that I begrudgingly decided to offer both quality canine couture and a little insight into life with our five dogs and my wonderful (husband/other half/love of my life, hee hee).  It didn't take long to realize that I had lots to say.  Everyday nuances and major events became instant ideas for the blog (and the dogs so love it when I feature one of them!)  I hope you'll visit Maison Mutt, mes amies, and let's get inspired together!  Merci, Beverly, for the honor of being featured and the new friends I have made within Pink Saturday!

My pink contribution for this Pink Saturday is this wonderful Swan Lake Fairy Tree which was gifted to me by Tobi.  Do you know Tobi at The Pink Pixie Forest?  If not, you need to hurry over to meet her.  She is a beautiful and enchanting sweetheart, and she and her pixies create beautiful things that belong in a wonderland.  My tree is exquisite, and it has a special place of honor in my studio, and the ballerinas, swan and sparkling jewels brighten my days.  Thank you, Tobi, and thank you for letting me use your picture.

Hi Beverly, I love your fairy tree! You know I dont think I recived a notice for pink saturday last week, at least I can't find it and I save them..so I did not get included, which is no problem. Happy Belated Pink Saturday... I am still making rounds. I was busy all day Saturday with family festivities and did not get a chance to visit. I am playing catch up now.

anyhow, this tree is glorious!!! I absolutely love it! I know you must have been thrilled when you received this beautiful pinkness! :)

your roosters and birdhouses are also so inspiring. I have a few roosters, mainly antique wooden ones. I really enjoy having them around, even WITH the feathers flying! grins!
