Happy Canada Day
to our wonderful northern neighbors.
This is the most moving performance of
The Star Spangled Banner
that I have ever heard.

I AM STANDING TALL, HAND OVER HEART AND SOBBING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for sharing. I don't know how to put the video up on my blog (computer challenged, I am) but I have linked to you today! If you ever find Kathie Lee Gifford's version that she did during a Super Bowl halftime, please let me know!
YES, I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!

Whitney Houston will always be one of my favorite entertainers, and I guess that's no surprise considering her aunt, Dionne Warwick, was one of my all time favorites, too. I hope and pray that Whitney will find peace in her life. She's given so much to her fans! This is a gorgeous, and I think it is probably one of my favorite performances.
Thanks, Beverly, and God Bless America!
Happy Canada Day, too! I love our Canadian neighbors and my Canadian friends!
XO,
Sheila :-)

I have to agree with you. Too bad she went down the wrong path later...

Hi Beverly, this sure brings out the patriotic feelings I have for my country. God Bless America and may we remember how we became a free country. Death to many is why we are free. Love the rendition on both songs. A great reminder.
We are just hanging out with my brother and SIL. It is wonderful to have them here.
Love you, Jeanne
