I've dreamed of mountains all my life---of greening hills, of valleys and swells rolling away to the horizon like the ocean, this child of the Flat Land that I am. I cannot imagine living where the scenery just sways away for miles like that, and I thank you for sharing---it's my first view of the world this morning, in this dim room.
Just magnificent.

We have spent our family vacations in the Blue Ridge Mountains (Blue Ridge, Georgia) for the last four summers, and I have always wanted to go back in the Fall. Thank you for giving me this glimpse of it in all its Fall Glory!

I have been to the Blue Ridge mountains before, but never when it looked like this. What awesome fall foliage.

I've visited the Blue Ridge Mountains twice. Look closely, and you'll see some of my drool.
Happy Blue Monday, Beverly!

Wow! That is truly gorgeous. If I had a view like that from my house I think all I would ever do is sit and gaze dreamily out the window!

Good morning my forever friend, I love this photo of the mountains. It doesn't get better that this. My company just left for Florida. I want a long nap. It is rainy and dark outside. Zzzzzzzzzz.
Hope your day is a happy on.
Love you, Jeanne

What a beautiful photo, Beverly! The composition of this photo is excellent! I love how the lush green hills make the already gorgeous fall colors even more vibrant! Oh, if only fall would last longer...{i'll even vote to have it take winter's spot! lol!} Thanks for sharing such an uplifting photo! Xo, Sue

Absolutely beautiful from your angle of life.
It's pouring cats and dogs here, but I will hold that photo in my heart today.

Oh I do love the Blue Ridge Mountains - I was looking through some old photos yesterday of a holiday my mother, sisters and I had in that area. Beautiful!

Just drove from Erwin to Asheville today and the leaves were perfect. This is the most beautiful time of year. The pic captures what I saw today perfectly but I didn't have a camera. It was rainy but that made all the leaves stand out more..

What a beautiful picture! This is my first year in a state where the leaves actually change. I am super excited!

God's spectacular work!!! Our trees have been gorgeous, too, but not as pretty as those you shared!! I couldn't get your "oldies" to open.....I'll try later.
Hope all is well....I'm busy making treasures for the sale this weekend. I will be glad to have that behind me....I'm getting tired!! I need an extended leave.
