Happy Pink Saturday !

This week we have one hundred seventy-nine (179) participants in Pink Saturday.  There are three new participants, and you will find them at the bottom of the list.  Let's all take time to welcome them to Pink Saturday.  All participants are listed in the order in which they began participating. 

Please take the time to visit other participants, and leave a comment to let them know you stopped by to enjoy their pink.  Pink Saturday is about having fun, and giving us a chance to meet others in the blogging community.  I promise you it is worth the effort because you will not only see lots of pink, you will meet incredibly nice and talented people.  Please refer to my post dated January 8 for more information about Pink Saturday.

Remember that my reminder e-mail stated I needed your plan for participating today no later than 8 a.m. EST Friday.  If you don't see your name and link here it is because I did not receive your plan for participating by that time.

I have been blogging since July, 2010 after reading many blogs for about a year. I finally decided to try my hand at it myself and I am so glad I did. I have already met so many wonderful people whose creativity and kind words have added to my life. I never thought blogging would have such an impact. I am a wife, a mom, a grandma, an innkeeper….and now a blogger! My blog is about decorating, cooking, lifestyle experiences and how all of it comes together in my life as an innkeeper. The blog itself is a journey and a true learning experience. I know that there are many people who have expressed the desire to own an inn and in the same breath they say “it’s so much work”.  My answer to that is no matter what your passion, it takes hard work and that is the true joy in doing it!

Hello my pink friends!  I am so excited to be featured this week and I would like to thank Beverly for taking the time to do this!  I started my blog a couple years ago as a way to compliment my website.  However, what I have found is that I have made so many new friends and I truly love reading everyone's blog!  I post several times a week now, probably more personal than professional and I am having a blast!  I am a mom to 19 y.o. triplets, work part-time as a Clinical Social Worker and run my little boutique online.  I am truly loving life and I actually am enjoying building new interests since my children have gone to college. Hello! I am excited to be a featured pink blogger this week! First I’d like to send a big thank you to Beverly for hosting us every Saturday.  My name is Victoria (also known in blogland as BEAR’s Mom). I originally started blogging to keep my family aware of what was going on with me and hubby. I turned to the computer because of an illness known as Guillian Barre Syndrome which I contracted from a flu shot on Oct. 12, 2007. I spent 10 days in a coma, 17 days in ICU, 11 days in rehab...a total of 47 days hospitalized. GBS is a debilitating disease where your immune system fights and destroys nerve endings and renders you paralyzed. I fought back after 6 months was able to return to work...but that’s all I do...The #1 residual of GBS is fatigue. If I work a 40 hour week I am totally exhausted and sleep the weekend and most evenings away. So why work??? A little word spelled INSURANCE. Anyway...after visiting some other blogs I thought ‘what a way to socialize from my own room’...so I visited Beverly @ Pink Saturday and things started snowballing from there...Now I show my cards that I so enjoy making, visit other crafty bloggers, keep my spiritual life in tact, feel love and support when I’m having a bad day, AND show off my BEAR...who is a certified Therapy/Service dog that keeps me going (literally) when I fall asleep and stop breathing even with my CPAP on. I am so blessed with a husband and family that gives 110% to get me thru the day, a dog that knows when I need her most, and my blogger family who gives me the opportunity to reach out without leaving my room...your comments, prayers, and support are a huge part of my life...Blessings to You All.

Beverly, Aren't we blessed to live in a time when early detection has made the breast cancer survival rate so encouraging...Nancy (My Crafty Little Page) and I both have lost sisters to cancer and her sweet hubby is a cancer survivor so your post on this Pink Saturday reminds us all to do our part in this race for the cure.
