Thank you to Sally at Smiling Sally for hosting Blue Monday.
You all probably already know that we are
Duke Basketball fans.
But, did you know we just had a white Christmas?
It was my very first white Christmas.
And, it was a dream come true.

How beautiful the snow is in YOUR backyard; please, not in mine!
I adore your birdhouse.
I wish you a Happy Blue Monday and a Happy 2011, Beverly.

What a lovely snow scene from your yard. That would make a very pretty magazine cover. Just the right touch of blue added.

It looks beautiful, Beverly, and your first White Christmas is a memorable occasion. I hope you can enjoy the aftermath of the storm sitting by the fire. Your photo is just wonderful. Have a great Blue Monday. Blessings...Mary

Oh you sweet thing!
I have to chuckle when people are knee deep in snow and it's new to them!
Living amidst snow I guess we take it for granted. I do love the look of newly fallen snow and the quiet you HEAR.
Thanks for shaing your joy!
Hugs
Claudia

Oh Beverly, this is beautiful. I love the lace like trees. We had a white Christmas too and we aren't there. We are heading home tomorrow. I hope we can get up our driveway. I posted some photos that Bill Fox took. Beautiful.
We just fixed hot turkey salad for supper. It is so good.
Love you bunches,
Jeanne

What a beautiful White Christmas you had, too! I am happy you received that for a gift.....and glad we didn't! ha ha. We had a blizzard last Christmas Eve and Day....that was enough snow to last me for several years. We did have a little dusting on Christmas Eve, but it promptly melted. Today, we had "hoar frost"....ever heard of that" OMG...it was spectacular....I tried to get photos of our neighbors' trees coated in a layer of heavy frost, but they didn't do justice to the beauty!
Hope you had a wonderful Monday! L, Dana
