First, your White Christmas photos from your previous post are wonderful! I hope you use some of those for Christmas cards next year....they are just great! Being from the mid-west, we've had many White Christmases, but they haven't always been pretty like yours was!
Now, New Year's Eve Plans. I just "told" Jeanne we were having two couples over. We're going to have soup, sandwiches and whatever desserts folks have left from Christmas. Then we're gonna play cards and/or dominos! I haven't done either in years, so it should be fun.
Hoping you're having a good week!
L, dana

Wow! It is time to start thinking about New Years Eve....just kidding!!! We ALWAYS start out New Years Eve with a BIRTHDAY Party for HiHoney! Yep, he was born just before midnight on December 31st....just made it as a tax deduction in 1946! This year, like in the most recent years before, we will have a nice Birthday Supper, some TV watching of the crowd in NYC, fall asleep in our chairs, and miss the BallDrop! Aren't we a Bunch of LiveWires? Oh! I'll be posting my New Years Pink Saturday! Happy New Year, Beverly!!!!

I reminded my husband last night New Year's Eve is the 42nd anniversary of our first date. He didn't ask me what I wanted to do so who knows! lol
Happy New Year to you!

Hi Beverly, I have been madly cleaning my house. For the first time in my life we left for Florida with the house a mess. I guess it was the 'Christmas rush.' It is beginning to look normal except of course all of the Christmas decorations. Frankly I am going to leave them up a while. It all looks so pretty. Most of the mess was tables and folding chairs everywhere from the Christmas party we had. Lots of tablecloths to wash. I can't forget Christmas sprinkles that were missed in the haphazard cleanup after Christmas cookies. All clean now. I'm happy now. And...now I might even get dressed. Smile.
What are we going to do New Years? Now at least you have got me thinking about it. Not much, I think. If we still lived in FLorida we would have a big ole New Years party. Right now I am partied out. We will probably play cards with family and bring in 2011 in a quiet way. Yep, that's the ticket, a quiet New Years this year.
What are you doing?
Love you, Jeanne

I won't be doing anything! Very boring! I did buy a bottle of champagne, however. ;)
Hope you have a wonderful 2011!
Best,
Gloria
P.S. Love your little angels header!
