With more than a little pride and enthusiasm, I can say that I have decorated for Christmas and finished shopping (just waiting for the UPS shipments now). Every year I commit to starting early and usually I do, but I drag the whole thing out until I'm still shopping and decorating on December 24th. This year I decided to downsize the decorating and shop online and be done by December 1st so that I can enjoy myself. This feels strange. But wonderful!

I have put the candles in our front windows. My brother gave them to me last year and they are battery candles that stay on for 10 hours and automatically go off for 14 hours. Really nice looking too. I also have the Santa on a Lifeguard chair out so you can see I'm quite the decorator...lol....Slowly I'll get done.

Hi Beverly, I am trying and making some progress. We adore our new lighted tree. I will be sharing it soon. My grands that were here for Thanksgiving helped decorate the tree. That makes it extra special. (and I didn't have to do it by myself)
Love you, Jeanne

Have not started! We just got back from a trip to Florida. We are going to the tree farm Thursday and hope to be all decorated by the end of the weekend.
Hugs,
Penny

No, and just the thought of all those boxes makes my stomach hurt. Wish I could hire someone to do it for me!

Kinda sorta---way too much already, and not yet finished. There seem to be enough wreaths distributed about the house to furnish Saks.

I'm working on it! Most of the living room is finished except for the tree that will go up this weekend. Now I'm working in the dining room and kitchen. It won't be long, I'm sure, before it will be finished.

The big guy brought the big boxes down from the attic and got the tree box from the garage. I've looked at them a few times, but that is about as far as I've gotten. I hate doing it by myself, and the big guy's contribution pretty much stops at putting the tree together and carrying all the stuff into the house. It'll get there but not today!

Not yet, Beverly....I think I'll get started on this weekend.

Yes, already done, one day ago on 3rd, Friday. I captured the photos and will share on my page. I am always 'impatient' and 'early-goer' whatever I do:)
