I LOVE this song. What happened to these guys? We need lots more songs like this today. Our music is kind of nuts theses days. Guess I am getting old. HA! The thing is, I LIKE hearing the words.
The sun is shining like crazy today. Cheri" is seeking the sun and enjoying the warmth. It will be 23 degrees tonight, still in the 60's during the day. Weird.!!!
Love you bunches,
Jeanne

Great video. I think I'm lost in the 60's (or is it the70's or 80's) tonight.

I knew it would be this one---it has a bittersweet memory for me, a great sadness, yet a lovely memory of two wonderful, promising young people who will be forever eighteen and in love.

Oh miss Beverly. I'm so glad you came by I really am. Now that my new blog seems easier to get to, I might just do a PINK Sat. once a month. Hurray.
I'm laying in bed and Randy and I listened to this song. Awww such great memories. Me in my basement with my 45's listening for hours upon hours to these guys and the beatles.
Thanks for the memories. Oh and Randy just googles Peter Noone, he still looks pretty cute.
Love Claudie

Hi, Beverly! Boy, this is a great video! I have crushed on Peter Noone for YEARS!!! My parents took me to see him in Dallas when I was only in 3rd grade. I was lucky enough to actually meet him years later (I was around 30) ~ should do a post about that soon. I just found a website for him a few nights ago ~ www.peternoone.com. As for the song ~ I sang that in 8th grade at a choir program. It is one of my favorites along with that dreamy pic of Herman on the cover of the LP!
Big TX Hugs,

Ohhhh, I LOVED them. Talk about sweet baby boomer generation memories! And oh my gracious - look how similar he looks to Justin Bieber who my granddaughter liked for so long. Except I think she has lost interest and I STILL love Herman's Hermits and their music. Too fun :) Thanks for the sweet family memories.

P.S. Just showed this to my granddaughter who said, "He's not Justin Bieber but he's CUTE!" A meeting of the multi-generational minds! :) :) :)

LOL I loved so many of their songs but the one I can't get rid of is "I'm Henry the Eighth I am" it will just go round and round in my head.
