Agree with you, with the exception of Haley and Lauren. Think Haley may actually have more talent and the ability to pull off the Idol image. James is out of this world good.

I love James Durbin, too, and he deserves to be the next American Idol. His performance this week was absolutely AWESOME. Casey - I just don’t GET him and think he’s kinda creepy. Talented, gifted even, but ewwww... Scotty is very talented but soooo country (one-trick pony) that they should just vote him off so he can get on with his country career and not be saddled by a year under contract to AI. I love Haley - she has a great voice and style (although I admit her selections don’t always showcase that). As a professional, her producers will bring out the best, and she will be WOW. And she is gorgeous and smart. Jacob has a great voice, but he can go home now. He’ll have a career, but he’s no Idol. Lauren, whom my DH loves, is too dumb and just OK in my book. Her type is a dime a dozen. She is too young and needs to leave after Jacob. That’s my take on it.... Hugs, Cathy

It appears now, that James should be the winner. Jacob should go home tonight, then Lauren, Casey. There is possibility the top three will be James, Scotty and Haley. It is hard to predicate how the public will vote. Bear in mind, there has not been a girl winner in awhile. Also, the girl winners of the past have done much better than the male winners.

Love James Durbin too. Love the huskiness of Haley's voice as she played into the Carol King genre really well.

Hi Beverly,I find myself agreeing with you for the most part. I think the girls are better though and deserve more recognition. However, the whole of the Idol singers are so good. I still change my opinion every week, except James. He is awesome in every area. LV, has a good summary of this year's singers as well.
Love you, Jeanne

James Durbin is our homeboy -- we're hoping the Santa Cruzan will win!

I love James and really hope he wins. I agree it's time for Jacob to go on home. seems like Lauren has gotten shy or something.
scooty I mean scotty is OK in my book he is too much like Randy Travis and I don't do real old country like they do.
I like Casey I get him , he will be in a great Jazz crazy setting at a club someday
Haley has grown on me I love her with Casey

I decided tonight that my fav is Scotty. Didn't realize he was only 17! He has a nice career ahead of him...they all do in fact. This is the most talented bunch so far...(in my humble opinion.)

This is Thursday night, just watched the show...I'm so bummed! I loved Casey and what he brought to the show this season. If James gets the boot, I'm done watching. Marcia

Looks like we all love James -- I love his confidence and charm and his authentic assessment of what songs best suit him. I loved his soft side. I am a HUGE fan of the talented Casey ... but seeings that I am writing this AFTER he was sent home I can say that I feel America doesnt really understand the true artist! He is/ WAS ...
For weeks I thought JAke should go home... but then apparently not everyone agrees with me :) ahhaha!
