Good Morning Beverly:

I was checking my 'stats' this morning and discovered your blog. It is wonderful and it is such a pleasure to meet you!

I agree with you and your love of family.....I adore my children, their mates and children and we too would rather be with them than anyone else.
They are our life! We do however, have wonderful friends and have blessed with the blessed relationships that live brings.

I look forward to following your blog and the creativity you use to create. Thanks so much for your kindnesses in sending others over to Always Robins Egg Blue.

Have a wonderful day,
Mary Anne ox

As an American living abroad, I celebrate quietly at home. Though live in Norway, a very American-loving nation, for my own safety abroad I don't splash the stars & stripes outside my home & such. Hubby & I usually have a very American BBQ are home though--very fun. :o) Happy 4th, Beverly ((HUGS))

The fourth is the LAST morning I work in the garden until middle of September.... at this point we are in Summer ++ and I don't do extreme HEAT at all. Then there is the grill cooked hambagure with neighbors.

We have a huge Four of July Celebration. We start by attending a local "small town" parade, followed by a cookout with lots of friends. We always take a group picture along with tons of photos my hubby and I take all day. A friend has used these photos, over the years, to create amazing scrap books of us all celebrating this very special day. It's truly one day I look forward to every year.

Grilling out with friends and then attending a local fireworks display...

Usually, we gather at my mom's house for a family picnic. We might swim for a while, but we actually eat on her sun porch since it's way too hot for a picnic is this part of Georgia.

After, my husband and girls usually go to the fireworks. I will admit that I don't always go.

Dixie

We usually don't do much of anything. Sometimes, the kids come over and we cook out... but mostly we just spend the day together relaxing and enjoying doing nothing for one whole day!

Hope you have a great time celebrating the occasion. Happy Pink Saturday.
