Colette has been using the color and teaching other cancer patients too....

Colette that you all loved and supported speaking kindness and encouragement to in our party last year..... that you posted  and affirmed her healing and wellness for and about... posts that were internet prayers and meditations....

I have been thinking and thinking about what to post today

for my Pink Saturday blessing post.

How can I begin to share only one blessing in my life?

My life in itself is a blessing.

And every moment of every day is filled with blessings.

The first thought I have each morning when I wake is

to thank God for that day.

One of the things that I am most grateful for is that

I learned about blessings and appreciating

all of life's gifts and moments at a very young age.

You see, I was very sick when I contracted polio

just a few weeks after my seventh birthday.

I am constantly reminded of the profound impact

it had on my life.  It seems strange to me that I was so

aware of the impact since I was so young.

But, somehow I have always had peace in my heart.

And, I know for a fact that I have the wonderful

blessings of that peace because God

carried me in his arms through my journey.

And, He is still carrying me each and every day.

I pray that every one can embrace that

wonderful love that is there for the taking.

 

 

 

He walks with me,

and He talks with me.

And He tells me I am His own.

And the joy we share

as we tarry there.

None other has ever known.

 

Thank you to every one of you for being

one of my life's blessings.

Hi Beverly, At last my post is up. It was a task full of love and it took me time to find the words to share this today. I had to wait until my company went to bed before I could concentrate on my story of Tina's cancer journey. She did not want me to give details of this past nearly two years and so I honored her request.

I want to say how much of a blessing you are to me my dearest friend, Your story of the Polio when you were a child always makes me sad. Your journey to walk again was such a struggle and so much for a little girl to go through. You are a walking blessing my friend. God loves you and so do I.

I would have done a post, but only received my new computer yesterday and have had the usual fun getting it up and running (updating drivers, lost passwords, incompatible older programmes etc) so am not actually up to speed just yet. Just hoping it will be more reliable than the old one! So I am still not exacly operational, but at least I'm functional... ish....
