This week I am featuring Carolyn at Aiken House & Gardens. Carolyn first participated in Pink Saturday August 15, 2009. Do you already know Carolyn? I've been thinking about how I would like to describe Carolyn, and I honestly don't know where to begin. She is the epitome of grace and gracious living. Carolyn's home, her gardens, her lifestlye, her countryland, her grandchildren and Carolyn herself are exquisite beyond description. The beauty of Carolyn's home is like living in an impressionistic painting. I would equate viewing her photos to opening a book and stepping into a land where all is beautiful. Carolyn lives on Prince Edward Island, and that is a place that captured my heart the day I became an Anne devotee. I feel certain Carolyn and Anne would be kindred spirits. I can close my eyes and feel the gentle breezes and breathe the sweetness in the air. Carolyn brings beauty to the world. Have I convinced you? Now, go visit and experience the magic all for yourself. You will find yourself speechless, but gather yourself and say hello.
Take a minute to go meet Carolyn, and please introduce yourself.
Carolyn has written the follow message to you.
- Carolyn at Aiken House & Gardens
Hello everyone.
Welcome to Pink Saturday here at Beverly's and I am so honored to be featured this week at this wonderful party that Beverly so kindly hosts every single Saturday! There are always so many lovely 'pinks' to see.
My name is Carolyn and I live on a beautiful little Island on the east coast of Canada where my husband and I enjoyed raising our seven children and now we enjoy our grandchildren who live close by. I have been blogging at Aiken House and Gardens for a few years now and my blog is mainly a place to share my love of gardening, decorating, photography with a little bit of family life thrown in and, of course a tea party here and there!
Enough about me - now you can go and enjoy all those lovely pink posts that Beverly has gathered together from all over blogland for you to enjoy!
Thank you so much Beverly for featuring my blog on this weeks Pink Saturday and thank you to all of you who pop in to visit me!
Take care,
Carolyn

Hi Beverly! Thank you for featuring Carolyn today. Her photos are always so lovely. Happy Pink Saturday dear friend!!

Hi Beverly,
Love your teapot and the polka dot cup! Carolyn has such a beautiful blog. I have known her since I was a little girl and we used to play together with our dolls. She really does have a beautiful home and gardens as I have seen it in person. Thanks for featuring her today. Wishing you a lovely Pink weekend.

HI, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but got sad frog second time in row - I'm probably just moving too fast as I juggle caring for elderly parents with babysitting grandchildren :) Today - it's off to physical therapy with senior relative - tomorrow babysitting again. Definitely joys but definitely busy! :)
My senior mom and I loved "meeting" another grandmother who also loves gardening! Such a cutie granddaughter and such lovely flowers. And Beverly, your kitchen roosters are too cute! A delightful visit as always. Thank you!

You are better off than I am. I have absolutely nothing pink in my house. I have to get out and shake the bushes for my pinks. Carolyn was a perfect choice for being featured today.

Hi Beverly! Hope you have a lovely weekend! I'm attending my friends' "renewing their vows" ceremony tomorrow, then getting groceries and coming home to work on baby shower "thank you" cards all night. Sunday is church and then, hopefully, a relaxing afternoon at home with the family. Monday, my husband is off and said he wants to have a "family day" so not sure what he's got planned. Anyway, thanks for the opportunity to link up again!

Good morning Beverly, I like your pretty kitchen things. I noticed the rooster that Caralie gave you. Do you drink your coffee out of the polka dot cup? Very cute in pink.
I am leaving for the flea market in 45 minutes so I am visiting a few pinkies before I leave. I hope we have a good day but even if we don't, Caralie is the next table so we will have fun visiting.
My coffee is ready. Talk to you later.
Love you Jeanne

Happy Pink Saturday, Beverly...I'm sorry I've missed a few, but I've been quite busy lately.
I do so like the pinks around your house. Mmm...I wonder what's in the cookie jar...I think my favorite is your pink hearts towel. I'm a big kitchen towel person.
Have a gloriously pink day!

Hi Beverly, Just a note to thank you for hostessing Pink Saturday. Love all the pink and creative wonderful blogs I've visited. I would love to welcome you and your Pink Saturday friends someday to my blog. I am kind of a new blog and am making new friends, and just trying to figure everything out. I didn't really post anything spectacular this week, just sweetness. (Our little one year old granddaughter got new pink boots for fall and won't take them off!) I will look forward to posting with you often.
Blessings,
