I know it would look gorgeous hanging on my Christmas tree.
Here is a greeting to you from Ela.
Hello :) My name is Ela and I am a stay-at-home mom, with a wonderful 4 year old son. I love to bake cupcakes and have been for several years. However, in California I cannot bake for profit from my home kitchen, so I would just share my creations with family and friends. One day I received a flyer about a craft fair coming up where I live and I knew I had to do something cupcake related. After a few weeks of trial and error, my Faux Cupcake Ornaments were born. Some friends thought they were so realistic, they could hardly believe it couldn't be eaten! I love being creative and this gives me a great outlet to do so. I love coming up with new "flavors" and designs. My son thinks it's pretty cool too :)
Reminder - We have a weekly challenge for you to visit the blog of at least one participant that you have never visited before. Then next Saturday include that blog and a link in your post. Quite a few of you have been done this challenge, and have met some of the great Pink Saturday participants. Thank you for sharing with us.

Pink Saturday Featured Blog
This week I am featuring Pat at Back Porch Musings. Pat first participated in Pink Saturday on August 9, 2008. You might already know Pat, and if you do you know what a very special lady she is. And, if you haven't yet met Pat, you need to stop what you're doing and head over for a visit. Pat constantly amazes me. She has an instinctive style which is highlighted in her design and photography. And, Pat's kind and loving heart shows in every word she writes and every photo she shares. She is someone I would be proud to know and call my friend. Pat, thank you for making the world a brighter and lovelier place for all of us. Now, get on over to say hello and introduce yourself, and remember I told you that you were going to love Pat.
Take a minute to go meet Pat, and please introduce yourself.
My name is Pat. I live in northeast Missouri about 50 miles from downtown St Louis. My husband is retired after almost 40 years working for the local rural electric cooperative. Since his retirement I talk him into helping with this and that and little projects for the blog.
We have two grandsons and two granddaughters...the lights of our life. Our oldest granddaughter is 21. She was the one and only for 14 years, then along came a new little brood, ages 7, almost 6 and almost 4. They keep us young!
I began writing Back Porch Musings in March 2007. After beginning the blog I became interested in photography. That interest has grown into a hobby that I enjoy every day.
Back Porch Musings is a lifestyle blog with posts ranging from family news to decorating, homekeeping, day trips and other adventures.
I write, now and then, about our beautiful state.
On most days, at our house, you will find a tablescape in progress on one table or other. I love dishes!
Please stop by and sit awhile on our Back Porch.
Thanks so much for the feature, Beverly!

Please e-mail me if you are interested in being the featured blog at a future date.
