None...I don't really shop anymore. Our grands get money and Mr. Comforts and I don't buy presents for each other, because we have all we need.

Two Sundays ago, Chris said, "Let's run over to the Little Country Diner for Sunday Dinner, and then I want to show you this GREAT PLACE I've found that You'll just LOVE!"
And so we went, to spend a couple of hours at an immense store that I can only describe as (and in his words:)A TRACTOR SUPPLY ON SPEED.
And it was. Everything from groceries to tires to clothes to guns and ammo. We got little stocking stuffers and games for the kids and whatever filled five bags still in the guest room, and I haven't looked back into yet. So it will be a surprise to me, as well.
Gift cards to favorite stores and restaurants (How we will miss BORDERS this year!) for the grown-up kiddles, and hope to get boxes of homemade goodies off in the next couple of weeks.
And so No, but then I don't shop well, ever.

I usually don't start any shopping until December, but it finally occurred to me that with all the holiday merchandise in the stores so early, that if I see something that would be a great present for someone I love, that I should buy it immediately....because it surely will not be there if I wait for my "usual" timeframe to shop! Sooooo, I have some things for everyone....except my son-in-law. He is our problem child when it comes to presents. Finding things for him is always a challenge!

Christmas is going to be a simple affair this year .. I already have a few gifts purchased. Wonderful, practical, yummy things I know family members and friends will enjoy! I am making of few of them as well.

I’m all done, including stocking stuffers. Unless I change my mind and add more things, but that is not likely (budget considerations). Our grocery store offers gift cards for restaurants, department stores, iTunes, fast food, and just about any major brand you could think of. All year, when we have a cheap grocery week (meaning below budgeted amount), we buy one of these gift cards and put it away for Christmas (birthdays, etc). Also, whenever I see something that reminds me of a family member or friend, something I know they would like, I buy it - even in April or May. So, all that I had left earlier this fall was buying a clothing outfit and a toy for each grandkid. With sales and coupons, those were done by Thanksgiving. So, I am just waiting for the last online order to arrive, then the worst chore takes place - wrapping gifts. :-)

Thank goodness, I only have one more to go. Now trying to get them wrapped. I cut back some this year.

I am so sorry to hear that you are not feelings well. It really is a bother to be sick at this time of year. Here's hoping and praying that you'll soon be 100%. Take care. Blessings...Mary

I'm so sorry to hear you've been sick! I know exactly how you feel. I had the most horrible cold that lasted almost a month and I'm just now getting my strength back.! Hope your hubby gets better quickly!
I'll try my best to Pink with you! ;)

I'm almost done! We decided to hand off the gifts to family who lives several hours away while they were here for thanksgiving...so we saved on shipping.... and now I'm almost finished with everything too!
