happy New Year Beverly. Don't you just love amaryllis? I hadn't planned on potting mine up until after the New Year, hoping for a red valentine bloom. One day I checked on the box and the thing was growing inside the box so I potted it up. It shot up and bloomed in just two weeks, already fading now. It has a new bud in it so maybe I will get another bloom. I just planted my white narcissus today. Hope you and yours have a wonderful weekend. xo

Happy Pink Saturday and Happy New Year!! Whew....I just got my post ready and up.....too many photos to share, too slowly loading :)
Do you know I have never had an amaryllis? I love them and must make sure I get one next year!!!
I hope you have had a wonderful week...you know I have. I took the grands home yesterday and came back and crashed, but I sure miss them. We will go over tomorrow to visit and hug em all for a bit!

Beverly, what an amazing photo of your amaryllis. I want one of those beautiful flowers. I always think about buying one and never followed through. I will from now on.
We had a wonderful time at the Biltmore today. Now we are ready for a nap. HA! Lunch was delicious at the Bistro and it wasn't too crowded. A beautiful day in Asheville. I linked as soon as we arrived home.
I loved Dana's post today. What a special Christmas for all of her wonderful loving family.
I am going to do the puzzle now.

Happy Pink New Year Beverly! I came over earlier and saw you hadn't posted the Pinks yet - so I played the puzzle. That was neat. Enjoyed it! Thanks. Then, after I did my post I saw yours and thought we have the same flowers featured...but I think mine are some type of lilies. I'm not sure - I don't know too many flowers by name! Roses. Daisies. And such, then it gets complicated! (ha). Anyway, Happy New Year! And, thanks for the year in pinks in which I may participate! Jenn

I love your amaryrillis dear Beverly, one of my very fav flowers. Hi Beverly! I missed last week's pink because of too many events. I am glad you are OK and like everybody else is enjoying the holidays even with moody weather and the economic crisis looming around the world.
It is, after all, what pink stands for.
To remain in joyous pink irregardless of the many sad and gloomy colors in our lives.
To be happily in pink and courageously hold on with the changing times.

Hi Beverly...I am so thrilled to be here for pink Saturday. I LOVE lOVE LOVE the color pink. It is one of my top three favorite colors. I am so looking forward to linking pink in the future.
