I'll be at home. Reading, blogging, planning, praying. I spent too much time traveling for my job these last four months so all I want for my new year is staying at home. How about you?
Happy New Year!

We'll be watching "New Years Rockin' Eve" on TV and seeing who will fall asleep in their chair first!! (Hubby usually wins that race!)
Happy New Year to you!

Are you ready for this...We are spending New Years with out best bowling pals in the bowling alley. Remember, we live in a very small town and the party opportunities are limited. HA! The bowling establishment throws a big party every year and we have a blast. Great food and bowling as much as we want for $30. each. Lots of laughter and fun with good friends is what it is all about. They change up the bowling rules such as; Ladies can throw an 8 count on their first ball and it counts as a strike. The guys get a strike for a 9 count. Crazy things that make the night a fun time. It all ends soon after midnight so we come home and get a good nights rest. There you have it! No glamorous nightclubs etc. but I can tell you we probably have more fun and no one goes home blind drunk.
Love you, Jeanne

I hope to be home with my hubby....recovering from baby sitting the two grands this week while their mom, dad and new baby brother stayed in the hospital after his birth. They (the gr. kids) have been here since Christmas Eve! In fact, they all were here Christmas Eve through Mon. evening at which time mom and day went to the hospital for their new brother's birth...he entered the world early Tues. morning!! :) Yes, it's been so exciting with Christmas, then the birth of the baby...but I have to admit....this old Nana is getting tired!! :) But it's a great tired!!
SO, I am looking forward to a quiet evening at home on the 31st!!

Hi Sweet Beverly
We are having our long time friends over. Randy is cooking a Prime Rib with yorkshire pudding, baked potatoes and some veggies. I'm making a lemon meringue pie. We will actually have our celebration at 9:00 PM. Our friends live out of town, so staying up till midnight just to watch that ball come down... not going to happen. I'm moving all the clocks ahead and not telling them, lol.
Happy New Year to you and your family Beverly.
Sending you cold Canadian hugs... it's freezing here. I got my snow for Xmas : )
