I do like this Beverly. I love Facebook but it is hard for me to do blogging and Facebook. So my Facebook suffers. However, I love to keep up with my grands this way. Welcome to another world of communication.

I just added another option for Followers on my sidebar. I have facebook and networked blogs, but the new one will work for folks who don't want to have a facebook account. There is a note on my blog post today, for info. Sue at Sullivan and Murphy had it on her blog.

Beverly, come check out Linky Follow on my page. Brent Riggs, the same gentleman that runs some of the other linky programs across blogland, has come up with a wonderful new way to follow which I believe ran for the first time yesterday and already many have joined, including the girls from At the Picket Fence. He actually worked with several blogging ladies to get this going. Come visit if you have not seen it. It's on my sidebar.

If I am understanding it all right, only the bloggers NOT using blogspot. will lose their followers. Is this correct?

I have found it too hard to do my blogging AND FB...I use my FB mostly to interact with grands....Sooo, I'll try to follow you another way. Thanks...

Blogspot bloggers will still have Google Friend Connect. Thank goodness because Facebook is changing as well ... and I rarely use it.

I knew about Picnik closing down but
I had not heard about the google friend connect being removed.

So it seems that Google cares not how we keep in touch with those that follow us?
I think they are doing to get us to join their Google+ social network that is not
doing so well.
