Pink Saturday Featured Blog

 

 

This week I am featuring Kari at Thistlewood Farm.  Kari first participated in the third week of Pink Saturday along with her sister, Kijsa.  They were both a bright light in our world of blogging.  Kari and Kijsa each took some time away from blogging to experience some of the many wonders of life.

 

Those of us that became blogging friends of Kari and Kijsa sorely missed them, but we were happy for the many good things happening in their lives.

 

And, now Kari has come back with her divine new blog.  You are going to love Kari.  She is a very special lady who is a member of a very special family.  Her love for her family, God and life is an example to all.

There’s No Place Like Home

 

 

 

Someone once asked me "What makes a house a home?"

What transforms bricks and mortar and metal and wood into the place

we call home?

I think it's love....

.....and warmth and acceptance.

It's a sanctuary, a haven, a respite from a world that sometimes tries harder to break you down then build you up. It's a place where friends welcome you with open arms and listen to you.....your hopes and dreams and aspirations.

A place where anything is possible.

 

 

That's how I feel about Pink Saturday.

When I visit Pink Saturday, I smile.

I am inspired.

I am overwhelmed.

I am in awe.....in awe of the creativity and the design and the inspiration.

But most of all....

                                ....I am home.

OOOOOH...I didn't realize Kari was back! Yay! What a great 'challenge' she and the others are presenting to us....I'll definitely have to look into the details! I'll never have a butler's pantry, but I have a huge craft room that needs help! :)

I am not familiar with that scent, either! Wow...we learn so much on Pink Saturday, don't we? :) My hubby is sensitive to "scents/perfumes/candles"...it's awful...I don't wear cologne any more and I only burn scented candles when he's not here..,..otherwise, he has a sneezing fit and goes around clearing his throat for hours. Not kidding. :(

I hope you were far away from the bad weather this week in NC. We just had a little snow, some refreezing of melting snow and some down right cold temps. I'm ready for Spring.

Hi Beverly, I have never tried this perfume. I am so locked into Opium and have used nothing else for years. I should branch out now and then and try something new. I like the name.
