This week I am featuring Rebecca at Our Back Porch.  Rebecca first participated in Pink Saturday May 16, 2009.

Rebecca is one of the dedicated teachers that we can thank for educating and nourishing our children.  I know her students and their parents must adore her.

And, Rebecca is a family oriented person that shares so many interests with all of us.

 Hi everyone!  I'm Rebecca from Our Back Porch.  I'm a happily married forty-something southern belle.  We have two amazing grown sons, one beautiful daughter-in-love, and a precious two-year-old granddaughter.  Being a "Gramma" is the BEST thing ever!  I am a huge dog lover.  We have a most precious and smart yellow Lab, Maggie Bleu.  She's not just a dog!  She's our baby!  My calling in life...and my huge passion...is teaching!  I taught preschool for nine years, and I'm in my fourteenth year in third grade.  Third grade is what I love best!  God has richly blessed me, and I look to Him daily for guidance in my life.  He is SO good!

 I adore time-worn treasures...anything chippy, shabby, tattered, and "well-loved".  A flea market is my favorite place to find these goodies!  I'm a crafty kind of girl, so many times, you can find me covered in glitter, glue, paint, etc. etc.

 

 I have always adored PINK, and having a daughter and granddaughter now, I have more PINK in my life than ever!  I first posted on Pink Saturday in May 2009.  I was a regular for a long time.  I have met so many wonderful ladies, and made such great friends in blogland because of Pink Saturday!  So, I thank Beverly for hosting this great event.  I was away from Pink Saturday for a while...because "life happens"...but recently I have been back...and lovin' it even more!  I hope you can come by for a visit soon!

Today for my pink I am sharing

great news about our very own Gabriela Delworth.

Throughout this post,

 

I am sharing with you some of the

Pink Saturday.

Happy Pink Saturday Beverly! I had stopped by, as I usually do, to pick up the links I need to link to you. I usually don't read the posts or drop down very far, so I can do my own post without the influence of something posted here (or get distracted and start browsing first). I noticed your new header. It's lovely. As are all your headers. What a neat talent Gabriella has for doing that. I wanna be able to do that kind of stuff "when I grow up". What surprises me, since I don't read first, is that my link often has a post with similar things as yours or your feature link. This time, I have a few dolls in my post. How about that!
