I was surprised that Donald and Peta won. I thought it would be Katherine and Mark, but all three were very good. I called a tie beween Phillip and Jessica :-)

Phillip, Phillip he's my man! Oh my gosh, he knocked it out of the ballpark with that last song, it was amazing!!!! I immediately went to iTunes and downloaded it and have played it 4 times already this morning. Jessica did a good job on his first song, her second song was ok but her last song was awful! Keeping my fingers crossed for Phillip.

Now that Joshua's gone, Phillip is my choice, especially after his "single," which was a lovely experience.

I can't imagine how How on earth they thought that writing and handing such a "hell we've been through" song to a sixteen-year-old was a good idea. Dreary and way too mature and unbelievable.

But I think she'll win. It seems ordained, somehow, and I've never thought it would be anyone else.

It wasn't such a surprise that Donald won. He came on so strong in the end. His fan base, considering he was a Super Bowl winner, has to be huge. My pick was Katherine and Mark and the other two were a tossup. I truly thought the overall talent this year was awesome. I loved the show this year.

I did love Phillip's last song so much. He chose well. Jessica sang beautifully but I too think her song choices except the first one could have been better. She is 16 trying to be much older. That girl can sing anything though and I really can't guess which one will win.

Anyone who says they don't love Idol can't possibly love music!!! Big smile!!!
Love you, Jeanne
