Eileen at The Art of Living Beautifully 

 

 Hello everyone! My name is Eileen and my blog is The Art of Living Beautifully. Pink is my favorite color, so when I discovered Pink Saturday shortly after I started my blog, I was in heaven. My first Pink Saturday post was Aug. 15, 2009, and since then there have been many others. I have so enjoyed finding so many other women who truly love the color pink as much as I do. I'm always amazed and inspired by the beauty and kindness shown every single Saturday, including Beverly's graciousness in hosting this weekly event.

I started my blog because I believe that choosing to surround yourself with beauty really does make a difference in life, and I wanted to share my ideas and experiences in creating a home. The Art of Living Beautifully focuses on all aspects of homemaking, from decorating to cooking to gardening.

I also write another blog called The Pink Home, which focuses on my floral photography and fabric design, as well as homemaking.

I recently moved from California back to the Carolinas and have been busy redecorating my cool old house. I still have plenty to do, but some things are coming along, including my pink (yes, pink) living room and my bedroom. In fact, in today's post, I'm sharing how my bedroom redecorating turned out. I'm hoping to get the house pretty much finished, if there is such a thing, by autumn. I'd love for you to come by and see me and check on progress.

Good afternoon and Happy Pink Saturday! It's amazing how looking at your figurine from different angles/directions invokes movement and emotions in the figurine. It's as if she's speaking from pose-to-pose in your photos. Very well done! Hi Beverly, This weekend has been crazy. The Hartmanns arrived shortly after we came home from church. I didn't expect then until 5:00pm. Crazy weekend is an understatement. Olivia was just darling and very good.

You know I love your Dresden figurines. This one is so pretty. Love the pink of course.

It's late but I just didn't get to comment on Saturday. Tomorrow morning I have a garden club board meeting at 9:00am. Sigh!
