This week I am featuring Carol at Serendipity.  Carol is just my kind of lady.  Florida in the winter and Maine in the summer.  Yes, I could go for that.  I am a Florida raised girl, you know.  And, she loves to read, especially books about the low country.  Another one of my favorites.  Carol loves beautiful things, sets beautiful tables - and she loves photograpy.

Carol, may I move in next door to you, and be your neighbor?  I have a feeling we could have great fun together.

Carol at Serendipity 

 

I am honored to have my blog featured on Pink Saturday.

My name is Carol and my blog is Serendipity. The name

suits the blog and me as I set out in one direction and most

likely end up somewhere else. My husband and I divide our

time between Florida and Maine. Summers on the lake are

very precious and our time in Florida gets us out of the cold

weather and lack of sun. In recent years photography has

become a passion. I still make quilts and make “stuff” but a

return to knitting and playing with pictures occupy my

spare time.

 

 

 

I didn’t think I had much pink around the house when I

first read about Pink Saturday but I was amazed at the

touches here and there. From burgundies to the palest of

pinks, I love them all.

 

 

 

I have a small container garden at the cabin. It is easy to

maintain and gives me a sense of satisfaction with small

bouquets and fresh herbs for dinner.

I hope you will stop by and say hello to the other “pinks”

who participate with Beverly and I heard a rumor that she

has a birthday soon……

Hi Beverly, We didn't arrive home until 2:30 so this was a real rush. I liked the way it turned out though. The garden tour was amazing. There is so much more to share. Of course I concentrated on the pink for today.

Love that pink cake. I know you will enjoy your week off and your birthday too. Are you planning a pink day on your birthday? I wonder what it will be. Pink cupcakes, pink champagne,
Pink tablesetting, a pink happy birthday sign or will you dye your hair pink? HA!

Love you much my dearest soon to be 60 dearest friend. You are getting mighty close to 'OLD.' Smiling here. I will always remember the day I met you when you were a new bride at 18 yrs. old. You were so happy and pretty with a great smile. Your hubs was very good looking too. I did not think that 43 years later we would be close friends forever. I am so glad we are.
