Thank you to Sally at Smiling Sally for hosting Blue Monday.
I've always loved kaleidoscopes.
How about you?
I can't remember exactly how long
I've had this kaleidoscope,
but I would say it has been at least thirty years.
It was a gift from my mother,
and I still love peering through and turning the wheel
for pretty designs and colors.
♥♥♥♥♥

LOL I found myself twisting my neck so as to better see! LOL
That is blue-tiful.
Thanks for sharing.
Happy Blue Monday, Beverly!

We had one as a kid. I still look through them when I find them in a store.

Kaleidoscopes always amaze me. At our local library they have an outdoor one in the garden, that is really special. Thanks for stopping by, Laura

I love Kaleidoscopes as well! Whenever I seen them I can't help but pick them up and put them to my eye to see what patterns and shapes are there for the offering. I'm going to have to add them to the list of things I want my grandchildren to have when they're old enough!

I can't tell size or scale, but it could be a sumptuous ring on the hand of an empress. Or a dragonfly's eye, reflecting sky and trees and flowers.
Lovely heirloom.

I was hopping over here to look for something specific and saw this post. I LoVe kaleidoscope and have been working images w/my photo software . . . just love the effect. However, THAT is a really NeAt kaleidoscope you have - nothing beats the real ones, huh?
