Hi Beverly, I'm getting ready to go bowling but I want to tell you that I too adore Bette Midler. I love this and 'everything' she sings. She is great at acting as well.
Love you, Jeanne

I've always had a soft spot for La Bette, and she is "maturing" WELL.
I count YOU as one of my great blessings, as well, Sweetpea---you bring a LOT of light and cheer and beautiful to our days.
Just one thing---I know we have similar tastes in a lot of things, but I didn't think I'd hear a GOOD FRIEND say something like:
"I've never been much for chocolate candy . . . "
love and,
rrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Here is a nice thoguht about Bette! A few years ago she was performing in Denver. There is a lady who collects food for homeless shelters. She ran into Bette near her hotel and Bette asked her about the charity and then reached into her own purse and gaveher all the cash she had onhand about $150! I thought that story would make you smile~!
