A national holiday,
and I have many things for which to be grateful.
Today, as every day, I am offering the same prayer
which I prayed on Labor Day of last year.
That prayer is that very soon
our economy will improve to the point
that all those seeking employment will be successful.
We want more "laborers" to celebrate their employment.

I hope you enjoyed your Labor Day off today. Our picnic pot luck turned out grand. Just a bit of rain. My huge dish of Pasta was almost all gone. I guess they like it. I came home and had a long nap and then I worked on a budget to present to the Town of Franklin to ask for funding for the gardens. I have to meet with two club members in the morning to get our application in order for a meeting tomorrow night. OI hope we get the funds.
