This Tuesday will mark our 42nd wedding anniversary.

 

We were very young and very in love

and

now we are even more in love.

I can honestly say they have been

42 years of wedded bliss.

 

He is still the man in my dreams.

 

And, guess what?

That table cover was pink

 

and so were the roses on the cake.

Hello friends and welcome to Pink Saturday! Today I am honoured to be Beverly's featured guest. I have been pinking with Beverly for close to four years now and it has been through her pink party, that I have met so many of you, my lovely friends.

Thank you Beverly for your faithfulness in hosting every week.

 

She asked me to share a wee bit about myself~

I am a home-maker at heart and Mom to three wonderful sons and Nanny to five adorable grandchildren. My hubby and I have been married for forty years and we are still very much sweethearts.

I enjoy reading, writing/blogging, crafting, decorating, afternoon tea, photography, thrifting, and music. I love taking walks along the beach and through the woods. I also host my own tea party meme called Tea Time Tuesday here every week and I would love to have you join me.

This is where I have spent most of my Summer. 

 

  

 

 We have the nicest beaches here on the Island! Yup, I wear pink flip-flops too!

I am a girly-girl and anyone who knows me, understands that I love tea things. Teapots, teacups, and different kinds of tea are just some of the collections you will find in my home.

 

And being the girly-girl that I am, I had to have a pink Princess phone.

Due to so much craziness I missed the last couple of Pink Saturdays Beverly so I am very happy to be back today. I am sharing some pink goodness that was at the beach wedding we attended one of those missed weekends. Hope everyone enjoys the photos. Congratulations to your 42 years...he's a handsome guy! And your dress was so much like mine. Ours was 43 yrs. back in August. Only we didn't do pink flowers. It was daisies...LOL....you know...the hippie thing and all that. Hubby and I just celebrated our 44th on the second and while it seems like a long time, on the other hand it doesn't. I do know that I could never imagine life without my strong gentle man!

Congratulations on all those awesome years of marriage! I feel the same way! I was sad in the recent months because several people that I know split with their spouses. Makes me so sad. Hi Beverly, finally I can comment. I'm heading for bed but I thought I would try once more.

I love your wedding picture. You look so handsome and beautiful. Just the way it should be on your wedding day. Happy anniversary coming up. Where does the time go. My wedding was pink and white as well. Pink is a great color for weddings. These days I have seen two weddings recently that used gray. All I can say is it wouldn't be my pick. I love color.
