Pink Saturday Featured Blog
Hi, my name is Lynn, and I
am the writer of the blog The Vintage Nest. I have known Beverly and
Pink Saturdays almost since its inception and think I was number 7 or 8 on the
list when we first started. That was back before linky signups and
everybody knew your name. :)
Having raised two boys, three if you count
Bobby G.!, I don't have a lot of pink in my home, but realized Pink Saturdays is
all about the world of pink, not just home. I have found pink in the most
unlikely of places, from the mountains of Virginia to our beaches, and
beyond. One time I even had my better half race up to the bumper of a car
on the freeway so I could snap a photo of the license plate. It said
"PINK".
I thank Beverly for her graciousness, sweetness and kindness in
allowing all of us to enjoy and have this special day. I hope you
can visit my blog today. Even though the leaves of Fall
are showing tinges of glorious reds, yellows and oranges, there's still pink in
the landscape.
xoxo Lynn

Which one caught my eye?
Every week after the close of Pink Saturday,
I scroll through all the thumbnail links
to see which is the first one to catch my eye.
Wow! There were some great thumbnails last week.
This is the first one that caught my eye.
Promises of a sweet baby girl?

Hi Beverly,
I couldn't get the link to show my fall header or my daughter's fall foliage. It wanted me to choose from past pictures. (sigh) So, I just chose my little pink flower.
Happy Pink Saturday, my blogger friend.

Your front porch is delightful Beverly! I have posted twice this week which is something I never do. One post is seasonal and the other is pink because you know how much I LOVE the color. Just can't get enough pink! Thank you for providing a forum for me to post my addiction each week lol.

I'm loving the theme idea for the upcoming holidays. Have a great weekend, Beverly. I'll be working on Shelia's book. Just got it today and it is so neat. This has been such a wonderful project. Happy Pink Saturday! You have some great "stuff" on your front porch - fall and otherwise . . .it's a great front porch and would be neat to be able to meet you and sit and chat on the front porch! The most clicks and catch of your eye - understandable cuz both caught my eye. I just love that organized stash and that cute photo is an eyecatcher for sure. I love visiting Lynn too. Didn't realize she'd been pinking so long and I smiled at her comment about racing up to a car to catch a pink for posting. (If only I'd had a camera when I saw a pink caddie w/eyelashes on the headlights one day. Wait, I did have it, but I was driving and at a stop light going another direction. If only. I surely thought about it!)
Happy Fall! Happy Pink! And, thanks for the opportunity of friendship and fellowship and pink and fall.

What a fun seasonal theme for today! And would you believe, thanks to the sun shining through the leaves, there's a hint of pink in the lovely fall foliage. Talk about autumn bliss for my senior mom and myself! I can't wait to take my grandkids to see it as well. As you can tell, I'm definitely in the autumn mood! My house is lightly decorated - my blog more so, including fun autumn bookmarks on Wednesday. TOO fun! :) Have a blessed and beautiful week!

Thank you for featuring my thumbnail from my prior week's Pink Saturday, beverly! I was so happy to announce my good news that we are expecting a granddaughter.
I'm sorry that I couldn't paticpate this past weekend as we were busy painting our laundry room and cleaning our our garage in anticipation of this upcoming weekend's real estate "Open House" at our home -- we hope to attract a buyer! Please say a prayer for us...thanks!
