You are so 'right on' I am thrilled that they won as well. I admit that it was a hard choice because I LOVED this years dancing season and the dancers. The best one ever.

Agreed, Beverly!! They were perfection!! I'm especially thrilled for Tony. That poor guy has had his share of less than awesome talent to work with over his numerous seasons on this show. I loved watching his reaction to his win!! Melissa is truly a talented dancer and so deserving of this win!

I was very happy for them, especially since I believe Tony has never won before. Knowing how gracious Shawn and Derek are, and by observing their faces way before they announced the winners, I would not doubt it if they honored Tony and Melissa by passing the victory to them.
Can't wait for next season.
