but it has been a tough week.

 

I'm staying focused on the coming weekend.

So many of you over the years

 

have complimented and inquired about

 

my blog banners.

 

 

 

 

Today I am very happy to share with you that

 

my banners have been designed by

 

our very own fantastic

 

Gabriela Delworth.

 

Throughout this post,

 

I am sharing with you some of the

by Gabriela.

 

Gabriela also created the custom design

A Request From A Pink Saturday Participant

One of the Pink Saturday participants sent me the following e-mail, and asked that I share this browsing feature.  I'm certain many of you know this, but it will be helpful for those who don't.  Thanks for thinking of others, Betty.

Hi Beverly,

This week I asked on my blog if anyone knew of a quicker way to read the Pink Saturday posts. I had been going to your site, clicking on a blog link, reading and leaving a comment, and then backing up into your site again to click on the next link.  It's very time consuming to do it that way.  I knew there was a faster way, but I had forgotten.  I also assumed I was probably the only one that didn't know.

This Saturday when I asked on my blog some nice people told me about right clicking on the link so the person's blog would open in another window.  That makes it so much faster.  A couple of other people left comments that they didn't know about this either and were grateful to find out.  I said I'd write to you and ask if you could include that information in the list of blogs each week.  It makes it so much easier to visit more blogs.  I know a lot of people probably already know this, but some of us aren't as tech savvy. :)

Anyway, it's just a suggestion.  You do a great job and I'm sure Pink Saturday is very time consuming for you and yet you do it week after week for us.

A New Look

I've been doing a bit of rearranging on my blog.  And, just in case you're looking for my blog list, it is in my right sidebar.

Meet Mike

Today I want you all to meet my cousin, Mike.  Actually, Mike is my cousin by marriage.  He has been married to my cousin for twenty-four years.  Wow!  I had to open my genealogy program to find out just how long they had been married.  It seems they will be having the famous silver wedding anniversary next time around.

Anyway, it seems like I've known Mike forever.  And, I definitely remember the first time I met him.  You see, I am 5'2" tall, and Mike is very, very tall.  (Just how tall are you, Mike?)  I just kept looking up and up, and there he was.  My mother's family is what some might say "on the short side", and Mike seems very tall to all of us.

Mike loves my cousin, and that is important to me.  They have four children, and they are grandparents, too.  Young grandparents.  Wink!

This weekend I received a telephone call from Mike about starting a blog, and ... he did it.

I am asking that you all go introduce yourselves to my cousin Mike.  His first post is so moving; it is about his experience taking God into his life.

So, head on over to Mike at Finding My Religion.  Be sure to say hello, and tell him I sent you.  (I've already told him how nice you all are.)  I believe he is going to have some important things to discuss with us in the future.  Let's all help Mike get started toward a great blogging experience.
