I did it! I ordered my chair. And, I found a fabric that I love in one of the first few that I looked at. I hope I won't disappoint you, but I did stay with the neutrals.
I ordered a wingback chair, and it will be skirted. The corners of the skirt will be gathered. I had a hard time finding a picture to show you to give you an idea, but here is the same type of chair and skirting.
And, here is a picture I took of the fabric. It is not a great picture, but hopefully you will get the idea. The color is really more of an ivory, but it looks kind of gold here. The fabric feels just like silk, and I love it. I also ordered two queen-size pillow shams out of the fabric. We have a king-size bed with king-size pillows, and our bed cover is an ivory colored matelasse. I want to put the queen-size pillows in front of the king-size to add some layers.
They are supposed to have the chair and shams made in about one month. I can hardly wait.
