Do you remember I told you we were participating in a neighborhood yard sale this past Saturday? We had an absolutely gorgeous day, quite a big turnout of sellers and lookers, and really good stuff for sale. But, all of those lookers didn't let go of much of their money.
So ...at the close of the sale, we pulled our tables back in the garage. We didn't pack up anything because I think we are going to give it one more try early in November.
That is my first Ugh!
And, now for my second ugh. Very early Saturday morning (about 5 a.m.), I turned on my computer to make sure everything looked okay with my Pink Saturday post, but my computer just cut off. Not to be deterred, I tried again, and it cut off again. My son came by last night to take a look, and he thinks my motherboard is fried. Do you have a visual of my sad face? Ugh!
I am writing my post from my husband's laptop, but my posts will be "pictureless" because all of my pictures are on my computer. I'll try to keep you updated about my computer status and my frown.
Now, here comes the smile. I checked my e-mail a few minutes ago to find a very sweet note from Sue at Collect In Texas Gal. Sue participated for her first time in Pink Saturday last week, and she had the nicest and most interesting post. Sue had so much fun on her first Pink Saturday, and she wrote this wonderful post on her SuKnitWitty blog.
And, the biggest smile of all is that she has a new grandson. Congratulations, Sue. And, all of you other folks need to do yourself a big favor by going over to meet Sue. You're going to like her, and please tell her I sent you.
